1.) Finance Specialist

Job Description

  • You will be working as Finance Specialist, and will be the part of Motion Business Area for BA Function Finance Division based in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role you will be reporting to Country Controller will be responsible to process accounting transactions for Accounts Receivable (AR) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Process Receivable transaction, ensure accurate tracking and processing. Monitor and review the due & not due in advance and raise flag at early stage with business team members.
  • Maintain the correct overdue status on the text files in SAP to give more clarity for the total outstanding. Perform necessary activities within the Accounts Receivable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Create the sales order with high level of quality aligned with the customer orders on MO level. Execute analysis and report as assign, and take appropriate action as necessary.
  • Comply with and help achieve Internal Control over Financial Reporting compliance in Accounts Receivable for applicable templates. Participate in internal control testing and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are aware of progress and/or issues to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • High availability and responsiveness beyond working hours to support critical customer requests such as emergency shutdowns, warranty cases, drive/motor failures and related immediate support requests from key customers.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting with good background in taxes.
  • Experience in account receivable is required.
  • Excellent command of English language.

2.) Project Financial Controller

Job Description

  • You will be working as Project Financial Controller, and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Services Division based in Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.
  • In this role you will be reporting to Senior Sales Controller will be responsible to monitor and follow up on all cost objects (projects, sales orders, service orders and production orders) in the BU EPDS to ensure optimal business performance and to provide accurate and on time data.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct formal contract reviews for allocate PG’s monthly and distribute minutes of meeting, follow up on outstanding action minutes in the contracts review. Ensure that order booking is done accurately and on time in the ERP system.
  • Monitor the gross profit (GP) at order booking stage as well as during execution, ensure that all invoices create accurately and on time with the relevant POD documentation. Ensure that the planned cost and delivery dates update monthly, prepare revenue and cost of sales analyses weekly and assure cost objects are closed in the ERP system effectively and on time. Analyze production order variances.
  • Product costing and analysis, calculate and validate order backlog, Order backlog phasing for quarterly reporting, assist with the preparation for schedule require for month end reporting. Ensure that all recovery hours book monthly and reconcile to the cost center reports.
  • Analyze over or under absorption per PG, prepare balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts related to the cost objects for the PG’s allocated and prepare retention reconciliation and follow up to ensure invoices create on time.
  • Resolve reconciling balances on WIP, LOP, CTC and PWD balance sheet accounts, extract cost center reports
  • Monthly, attend accounts receivable meetings and assist with resolving customers queries. Ensure that all VAT documentation is on hand for completed export orders and all SOX controls are implemented and adhere to assist with auditors’ request, any ad hoc projects or request from the PG manager, BU manager or controller.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in local Project controlling role.
  • Strong experience in accounting, Excel, and operational financial cycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
  • Excellent command of English language.

3.) Financial Manager

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of the strategy for the local division and serve as the key partner for the relevant business leader (Country Manager) in determining strategy for area of responsibility, aligning with the wider Turbo strategy, and final implementation.
  • Maintain constant contact with relevant other managers regarding financials, market and customer situation, operations and commercial outlook.
  • Translate strategy into business plans and establishes measurable targets and coordinate and oversees the business planning and estimating process for the area of responsibility and evaluate financial implications of various strategic decisions, build scenarios, and initiates corrective actions incl. required follow ups, monitor progress achieved and provides insights and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Leverage the power of financial and nonfinancial data to understand value drivers in the Hub/LD and identify issues and advise local management peers on action plans and operational strategies to resolve.
  • Drive appropriate cost structure/control/reductions, productivity optimizations, and capital efficiency to ensure value creation and manage and closely monitor the cash flow and take action to improve Net Working Capital, analyze customer and product/agreement profitability.
  • Identify and communicate commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions and execute risk/contract reviews in line with global policies and standards to minimize commercial and financial risks and exposure and closely monitor and follow up on overdues to minimize default risk, Stewardship of company's assets (e.g. Real Estate, local representative towards insurances).
  • Establish and oversees process and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
  • Ensure high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined local statutory and Group-wide standards as well as financial closing schedules.

Your Background

  • University Degree in Finance / Controlling / Accounting or Chartered Accountant (e.g. ACCA, ACA, ICAEW, ICAS, CPA, CIMA) or longstanding practical work experience with demonstrated achievements.
  • 5+ years of experience in controlling/accounting function in an international environment (industrial background is an asset).
  • Experience in SAP (FI and CO, SD and PS are a plus) and excellent MS Office and MS Teams skills.
  • Strong financial background structured and result oriented with strong analytical skills, strong team player with good problem-solving skills, approaching problems with open mind and persistence to deliver on time.
  • Able to handle different topics simultaneously, ideally used to matrix organization structure.
  • Fluency in English is a must, further local country languages considered a plus .
