1.) NI - Human Resource Associate

Job Summary

  • The Human Associate will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of B.Sc in related field.
  • Prior related office experience preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Job Title: NI - Key Account Manager Home Category

Job Objective

  • As Key Account Manager you will define and deliver offer, sourcing, and management strategy for an assigned category across different customer segments and geographies to enable achievement of ambitious revenue growth target.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience developing relationships across functional areas such as Business, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT and has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Define and optimize curation/assortment selection strategy for your category ensuring relevance of selection/styling to optimize revenues and sales velocity.
  • Partner with Vendor Success to drive Merchants/Vendors recruitment and activation strategy for your category.
  • Manage assigned category to maximize Gross Merchandise Volume with day to-day collaboration with merchants/vendors and channels.
  • Establish strong relations with sellers and support their performance, as their main contact point.
  • Support product and content creation process to increase assortment live. • Plan and maintain constant stock availability.
  • Trend Spotting: Should be able to identify broader trends and fill category gaps.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field from a recognized and accredited University
  • 6 - 10 years’ in B2B sales and account management.

  • Working knowledge of Google Office Productivity Tools.
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadership

Job Title: NI - Head of Key Account

Job Description

  • The Head of Key Account Management represents the whole spectrum of the business’s products and services to the assigned consumers.
  • He/She must be highly analytical (Power Bi) also leads key account planning and ensures that all assigned consumer accounts within the department are catered for and that their needs and expectations are met by the business.
  • The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the mobile phone, appliances, electronics and computing markets.

Job Objectives

  • Accountable for Sales and Revenue growth from Jumia Key Sellers, including shared ownership of Customer Acquisition and Engagement goals.
  • Supports Key Account Managers in negotiating commercial terms, signing contracts, and building sound margin structures.
  • Partners with Jumia’s key business partners to grow their assortment and business on Jumia.
  • Full P&L ownership. Accountable for profitability of respective businesses and shared responsibility over subsidy budgets.
  • Build and maintain senior level relationships with Jumia’s key partners, acting as the first point of escalation.
  • Build and maintain senior level relationships with internal Jumia teams, this role is expected to work closely with Marketing, Finance, Content, and Tech teams.
