1.) Server / Desktop Engineer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

About the Job
- We are looking for a Server / Desktop Engineer. You would be responsible for effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
- This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
- This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organisational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.
- This position reports to the Team Lead, Infrastructure.

As a member of the Technology Support & Infrastructure department you would also be responsible for the following:
- Analysing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
- Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments.
- Performing routine audits of systems and software.
- Performing backups.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software (e.g. database systems).
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
- Answering technical queries and dealing with often frustrated users.
- Responsibility for security.
- Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system.
- Troubleshooting any reported problems.
- System performance tuning.
- Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
Requirements
To successfully deliver these goals, you must have the following relevant experience & qualifications below:
- B.Sc / HND in Computer Science, Engineering discipline, Mathematics, or Physics will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 4+ years post National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in server/desktop administration; experience within an exchange or financial services organisation preferred.
- Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Unix and Microsoft (preferred).

2.) Network Specialist

About the Job
- The job holder is expected to work with the Team Lead, Network in consulting with users while evaluating various requirements which feeds into design recommendation, project planning and installation of data networks.
- She/He is expected to make recommendations for network maintenance and enhancement with the aim of ensuring uptime of all systems in line with any SLAs.
Responsibilities
Expertise:
- Consult with user and evaluate requirements, recommend designs, provide cost analyses, plan projects and coordinate tasks for installation of data networks.
- Analyse and resolve technical problems for established networks.
- Plan, test recommend, and implement network file server mainframe and workstation hardware and software.
- Provide network documentation, training and guidance to computing system clients and programmers.
- Serve as technical specialist in network problems and emergencies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network production problems.

Network Maintenance and Enhancement:
- Ensure the availability and stability of all Network and Communication Systems including Internet, WAN and LAN services and Telephony services. This requires regular routine maintenance particularly where this may impact security or availability. This includes but is not limited to the following:
- CCIE certified ideally, minimum CCNP.
- VoIP (SIP, QoS).
- Firewalls (ASA, IPS/IDS, ACLs).
- Cisco Switching and Routing (OSPF, Trunking, VLANs, Subnetting).
- Internet Access and Availability.
- System Logging (Syslog).
- Security.
- WAN redundancy, performance and scalability (Load balancing, routing).
- LAN redundancy, performance and scalability (Cisco 6500, 3750, 2960, 3900, 2900).
- Network Monitoring and Alerting (Netflow, ACS).
- 24x7x365 Authentication and Security Management Protection (Zero Breach).
Experience and Qualifications
- HND / B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, any Engineering discipline, Mathematics or Physics will be a distinct advantage.
- 5+ years post National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Network Analyst; experience in financial services organisation preferred.
- Network Administration Certification is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

3.) Market Control Analyst

About the Job
- We are looking for a Market Control Analyst who would be responsible for supporting the activities of the Market Control Team.
- This position will have strategic responsibility for ensuring that duties are proactively managed to ensure smooth and timely delivery of market control services. These include market monitoring, training, static data maintenance, and enforcement of trading rules on the trading floor. This position reports to the Team Lead, Market Control.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Market Operations Department you would also be responsible for the following:
- Support the entire activities of the Market Control Team.
- Ensure Daily Market monitoring and enforcing of the trading rules.
- Ensuring that all the results and notices from issuers, LSR, and corporate communications on Exchange related activities are published before the market closes.
- Monitor trading activities on the floor and via remote traders to ensure a fair and orderly market.
- Ensure that the trading rules of the Nigerian Exchange as it pertains to trading are adhered to/enforced as required.
- Broadcast news from Corporate Communications on Exchange-related activities E.g. Facts behind the figures, Market Closing Gong Ringing.
- Ensure that all pending market news from the previous day is broadcasted on X-Stream before the Market opens the next trading day.
Qualifications
To successfully deliver these goals, you must have the following relevant experience & qualifications below:
- Minimum of B.Sc / HND qualification in Finance / Banking, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or related courses.
- Minimum of 2 years post NYSC working experience in the financial services sector.
- Membership in a professional body- CIS/CISI, ICMR, ICAN, or any other related profession is an added advantage.
