1.) Finance Coordinator (Accounting)

Job Summary

Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance:
- Support the Finance Manager in ensuring financial management systems and procedures are in place and that NRC’s and donors’ accounting practices and standards are adhered to in the Area Offices
- Support the Finance Manager in analyzing the financial situation of the CO, monitoring cash flow and take or propose action on relevant matters through: -
- Reviewing, consolidating and follow up of action points arising from the Balance Reconciliation Sheet (BRS) report
- Preparation of the Project summary, ensuring that the country program has sufficient funds at all times.
- Communicating with the banks and Regional Office to ensure that bank risks are minimized
- Authorization table is periodically circulated
- Follow up with the HoP and CD to ensure that NRC receives installments from donors on time as per the project agreement.

Other Duties:
- Train budget holders, finance and support staff on budget preparation, budget monitoring and how to use Agresso excelerator to retrieve reports.
- Prepare Top down and populate eBPO in consultation with HoP and the CD
- Allocation of support cost percentage / amount for every new Grant and ensure adequate support costs (national and international support salary, and operational costs are incorporated.
- Provide up-to-date analysis and reports of the financial situation in the projects and in the Programme whenever required through the following actions: -
- Register projects in Agresso master file (both Oslo and country office clients).
- Ensure accurate master support budget, the funding gap identified, monitored and flagged to AMs, CMG and CD, measures suggested and followed up to reduce the deficit. Support the Area Managers and CD to effectively use the Master Budget vs. Actual
- Share summary Budget vs. Actual for the entire CO with the CD upon request and at least once a month. Ensure documented BvA meetings with action plans and follow ups. Update the CD on the status of the agreed action plans before the next BvA meeting.
- Prepare interim and final donor financial reports for All NRC Projects in donor formats.
Other:
- Training staff on anti-corruption policies, guidelines and procedures and ensuring that anti-corruption procedures are implemented.

Requirements

4.) Logistics Coordinator
Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Plateau

Generic responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, SOPs, and donor requirements/compliance.
- Coordinate timely operational planning and management of logistics activities.
- Ensure that country-specific SOPs regulate procedures at the Area Office level and perform periodic checks.

6.) Area Programme Manager
Job Title: Area Programme Manager

What you will do
Programme Development:
- Ensure availability of up-to-date needs assessment (preferably multi-sectoral) to inform programme design and advocacy efforts.
- Develop a one-response Area Office plan incorporating all core competencies.
- Ensure all relevant stakeholders are included in the planning and implementation of projects as appropriate.
- Ensure systems for programme quality control, monitoring, and evaluation, and incorporate key learning in programme development, adjustment, and implementation.
- Coordinate and closely support CC Project Managers/ Coordinators in drawing up plans, proposals, and budgets for new projects/extensions of projects in conjunction with the relevant programme and support staff.

- Support Project Managers/ Coordinators and ensure timely and accurate development of procurement plans, recruitment plans, M&E plans, and spending plans per project. Ensure the same is shared with relevant support colleagues.
- In line with project needs and funding availability, continuously and proactively plan programme staff requirements and liaise with HR and Admin to ensure the same.
- Performance management of all direct reports, including regular 1:1 meetings and completion of work and development plans.
- Responsible for ensuring systematic capacity development and training of CC Project Managers/ Coordinators, particularly around implementation and reporting capacities.
Coordination and Representation:
- Responsible for attending relevant cluster meetings and coordination fora, representing NRC strictly within the limit set out by the Country Office, including promoting the rights of IDPs/refugees in line with NRC’s Advocacy Strategy.
