1.) Full-Time Professor (MSc Data Science Program)

Job Title: Full-Time Professor (MSc Data Science Program)

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a qualified and passionate individual to serve as a Professor in our MSc Data Science program.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, a proven record of research and publication, and significant teaching experience at the postgraduate level.
  • The position involves teaching, research, and service responsibilities, with a focus on contributing to the growth and development of the MSc Data Science program.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting advanced courses in the MSc Data Science program.
  • Providing leadership in curriculum development, ensuring relevance to industry needs.
  • Mentoring and guiding postgraduate students in their academic and professional pursuits.
  • Engaging in cutting-edge research and contributing to the university's research objectives.

Qualifications

  • Our client is seeking a Head of API Sales to lead the acquisition and activation of high-volume merchants, drive transaction growth, and scale API-based payment solutions across multiple markets.

Job Description

  • The Head of API Sales will lead and scale the company’s B2B API sales function, driving revenue growth, cross-border transaction adoption, and market expansion across Africa and beyond.
  • This role focuses on building, mentoring, and guiding a high-performing team of Sales Executives, Business Development Officers, and Marketing Specialists to increase awareness and adoption of API-based payment solutions.
  • The role focuses on forging strategic partnerships, unlocking new revenue streams, and delivering seamless API integrations, blending strategic vision with hands-on execution to expand the company’s footprint in new markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing API sales team, driving the acquisition, onboarding, and activation of high-volume merchants across multiple countries.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of 1,000+ qualified high-volume leads, with a focus on merchants processing $1M+ in monthly cross-border transactions.
  • Oversee the execution of product demos and technical presentations for prospective merchants to showcase API capabilities and value in cross-border payments.
  • Drive the onboarding of new API merchants, ensuring smooth go-live and transaction commencement, while optimizing onboarding timelines for efficiency.
  • Activate high-value merchants within the pipeline, expanding transaction volumes and market reach across regions.
  • Develop, implement, and scale a repeatable API merchant acquisition playbook for all B2B products, incorporating best practices for cross-border payments.
  • Expand business operations into new African and international markets, unlocking cross-border transaction opportunities for merchants.
  • Create case studies and success stories highlighting the business value of API integrations and payment solutions.

Requirements

  • First degree in business, marketing, finance or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in business development or B2B sales, with a proven track record of driving user acquisition, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships across multiple markets.
  • 4 years of experience leading high-performing sales, business development, growth, or partnership teams in fintech, cross-border payments, or crypto sectors.
  • Hands-on experience selling technical products, managing long sales cycles, and navigating complex cross-border payment solutions for businesses and developers.
  • Strong understanding of payment APIs, developer tools, and how businesses leverage them to facilitate international transactions.
  • Proven ability to motivate and drive teams to consistently exceed ambitious targets, while managing multi-country operations and stakeholders.

4.) Outreach and Admissions Manager

Job Title: Outreach and Admissions Manager

Role Overview

  • As an Outreach and Admissions Manager at NUTM, you will play a critical role in promoting NUTM’s programs and managing the admissions process.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to attract and enroll talented students.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the Nigerian educational landscape, and a prove track record in student recruitment and admissions.
  • The Outreach and Admissions role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, strong relationship-building abilities and a passion for empowering young minds.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Outreach and Recruitment Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive outreach and recruitment strategies to attract talented students to NUTM.
  • Set institution’s cut-off marks and admission requirements in alignment with JAMB’s regulations and the institution’s standards.
  • Liaise with national student bodies such as JAMB, high school counselors and career advisors to promote NUTM and its programs.
  • Identify and participate in relevant career fairs, conferences and events to scout for prospective students. Admissions Process Management.
  • Oversee the end-to-end admissions process, ensuring a streamlined and efficient experience for applicants.
  • Review and evaluate applications, transcripts and other supporting documents to make informed admission decisions.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to identify the most suitable candidates for admission.
  • Lead a team of admissions staff and provide guidance & support throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth onboarding and orientation processes for admitted students.

Marketing and Branding:

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to raise awareness of NUTM and its programs among prospective students.
  • Create compelling content for promotional materials, including brochures, website, social media, and advertisements.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to reach and engage with target audiences effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including high school administrators, educational organizations and student associations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, faculty and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to outreach and admissions.
  • Provide guidance and support to prospective students and their families throughout the application and enrollment process.

Preferred Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Proven experience in student recruitment, admissions or related roles within the education sector, with at least 3 years of management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian educational landscape, including admission policies and processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset, capable of developing innovative outreach and recruitment strategies.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and Microsoft office suits.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
