Job Objective(s)
- Support strategic customer acquisition through the development of winning client/customer pitches and proposals.
- Drive subsidiary growth aspiration through the articulation of pragmatic and impactful strategic plans for the subsidiaries.
- Provide support for the executive of subsidiaries’ go-to-market strategic initiatives.
- Support the bank’s continuous improvement journey by monitoring the external and competitive environment to distill key insights for decision making.
- Support the Bank’s industry thought leadership positioning and aspiration through the development of high quality contents for the Bank’s external engagements and events.
Duties & Responsibilities

- Reporting directly to the Head, Strategy, this individual will serve as the key resource for developing the overall Subsidiary Strategy for the Banking Group as well as supporting the execution of key go-to-market strategic initiatives towards the achievement of identified goals.
- Lead the development and communication of the strategy for subsidiaries. This includes, but is not limited to, developing an overall strategy for the bank subsidiaries based on the Commercial Banking Group corporate strategy and assisting in cascading it down.
- Support the implementation of the strategy of the subsidiaries, focus towards maximizing market share, shareholders wealth and increasing profit by translating strategic objectives into practical plans and goals.

- Provide analytical framework to define and implement the subsidiaries’ strategic plan, develop strategy maps that incorporates financial, customer, internal processing and employee capability objectives.
- Provide analytical and value-added insights to Subsidiaries’ Management on market and business trends, consumer innovation and patterns, financial structure, macroeconomic factors and demographic potentials.
- Support strategic customer acquisition through the development of winning client/customer pitches and proposals, working with SBU leadership teams.
- Support the bank’s continuous improvement journey by monitoring the external and competitive environment to distill key insights for decision making.
- Support the Bank’s industry thought leadership positioning and aspiration through the development of high quality contents for the Bank’s external engagements and events.
- Direct, synthesize and execute insights gained from market analysis, internal capability assessments, competitor intelligence, customer research, product assessment and financial analysis and modeling.
- Present new ideas for growth of individual subsidiaries through understanding competitive actions and market trends in the industry locally and internationally with strategic intent of influencing and directing management thought
- Support the coordination and planning of the annual Board Strategy Retreat event for the Commercial Bank and subsidiaries including making presentations on industry insight to assist the Commercial Banking Management in its decision-making function; coordinating presentations of each member of the Management Committee and relevant (SRFs) to ensure appropriate message is delivered to the Board and Management.
- Comply with relevant industry policies and regulation, remaining alert to business risks and compliance issues.

- To produce creative designs that communicate the group’s and bank’s product and corporate messages in line with brand guidelines and policies to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- To develop concept, strategy and provide direction for the executing briefs
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the alternate (in-house) creative force for major internal and external advertising and communications digital campaigns, ensuring the Banking Group are not totally dependent on external Agencies and consultants for its advertising and communications needs.
- Software proficiency: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Zbrush, Autodesk Maya, Toon Boom Harmony. CorelDraw, Photoshop, Microsoft Office - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Specialties in these areas will be an added advantage: Art Directing, App + UI Design, Logo Design, Illustration, Infographics, Animation (2D / 3D),s Videography
- Supporting in updating the Group’s and Bank’s Corporate Identity/Brand Style Guide and ensuring that it is adhered to across ALL touch points
- Develop internal and external advertising and communications materials for major corporate, product and subsidiary briefs that require urgent execution such as:

- Regulating and upgrading corporate and visual look and feel of the brand across all social media platforms
- Innovatively redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time using appropriate tools
- Assist external design and production consultants in the development of visuals and brand collaterals, ensuring that the finer points of the brand’s Corporate Identity system, conventions and protocols are strictly adhered to.
- Source, maintain and manage an image bank for use advising on image use rights and obligations, expiration timelines and purchase costs and conditions.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Minimum Education: Degree/Higher Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts, Architecture, Engineering, Social Science or related discipline will be preferred
- Higher Degrees (MBA)/professional Certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum Experience:
- 4 years working experience with a minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience in a leadership role in the area of arts
- Knowledge of Brand Architecture, CI, Project management, Stakeholder management.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CorelDraw, Photoshop, Microsoft Office - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

3.) Project Manager (Architecture)

Job Description
- End-to-end management (plan, implement, manage, evaluate and review) of branch development projects such as expansion, relocation and renovation within stipulated deadlines and cost
- Preparation and vetting of architectural drawings/models of branches for the bank’s requirements.
- Preparation of preliminary and working drawings for new service outlets (ATM and branch)
- Preparation of consultant’s brief for special projects for the bank and group at large.
- Supervision of on-going construction projects - new branch buildings, relocation projects and adaptation projects amongst other construction projects
- Prequalification and engagement of consultants and contractors for design as well as construction works.
- Coordination of the activities of external consultants (architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers and mechanical engineers) on bank’s special projects.
- Ensure provision of a conducive physical working environment (space, furniture etc.) for the Bank’s employees and executives to facilitate optimal performance.
- Preparation of detailed progress and cost tracking reports – weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Facilitate the seamless handover of completed projects to the end users
- Endorsement/preparation of practical completion certificate for construction and remodeling projects.
- Carrying out quality assurance of completed projects.
- Coordination of new design model development for service outlets
