Norrenberger Financial Group is recruiting to fill the following positions:

1.) HR Operations Analyst
2.) Sales Trader (Stockbroking)
3.) Head, Business Development

1.) HR Operations Analyst

 

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Driving the company’s culture in creating a great place to work for employees and foster an environment where behavior is aligned to our values.
  • Assist in the managing employee’s welfare and developing initiatives for optimal employee engagement.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
  • Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual.
  • Address employee relations issues, such as work complaints, or other employee concerns.
  • Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.
  • Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.
  • Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
  • Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
  • Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.
  • Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
  • Keep track of leave time, such as vacation, personal, and sick leave, for employees.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Candidates must possess at least 3 years experience in a similar HR position, preferably in the financial services industry.

2.) Sales Trader (Stockbroking)

 

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by ensuring that prospective clients open accounts in addition to giving information to clients to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain and increase trading with existing account and proactively prospect new trading clients.
  • Responsible for selling company's product and services (brokerage and research) to clients.
    Build and maintain strategic working relationship with clients
  • Furnish clients with periodic updates on market information and corporate earnings releases
  • Make recommendation to prospective clients on the products and services available.
  • Educate clients on different investment types, assess the level of risk appetite required while making investment decision as it relates to purchase of stocks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve on investment returns with existing and new clients
  • Support all aspects of the trading desk: pre-trade analysis,research on index constituent changes, trade processing and identify strategies for large volume trades.
  • Constantly evaluate market developments in order to give clients accurate market information.
  • Assist other traders with project coordination, documentation and implementation.
  • Identify potential trading strategies and offer ideas to improve new ones.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Applicants must currently be working as Sales Traders (Equity & Fixed Income) in a Securities firm
  • Applicants must possess at least 4 years hands-on experience as Sales Traders.

3.) Head, Business Development

 

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting, maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
  • Develop customized products and targeted sales strategies.
  • Continuously monitor developments in the macro-economic environment and in the industry with a view to taking advantage of the emerging opportunities and minimize the potential risk s to the business.
  • Conduct market competitive analysis to develop roadmap and strategy to secure new business, retain existing clients, and grow the accounts.
  • Attract and onboard new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process of the business
  • Identify, and harness synergies between the company and other members of the group.
  • Create informative presentations, presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.

Requirements
To perform this role, the individual must be Persuasive and goal-oriented, as well as:

  • Possess a Master's Degree.
  • Must currently be working in a similar capacity preferably in an Asset Management or Stockbroking firm
  • Be experienced in business ideation, formation, and expansion.
  • Have minimum of 10 years post tertiary work experience, at least 5 years in strategic leadership role - making decisions that enhanced the long-term success of an entity while maintaining short-term stability.
  • Hold professional qualifications or master’s degree in business related field.
