1.) Management Information System Assistant
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description
- We are currently looking to fill the role of Management Information System Assistant who will be primarily responsible for supporting online platforms and the preparation of GIS-based maps to ensure the quality and accountability of the programs implemented by Action Against Hunger (AAH) Nigeria.
- The direction of the IS Manager and in collaboration with the MEAL and technical HoDs, the MIS Assistant will develop and implement clear and easy to understand information platforms and GIS maps for the programme teams by ensuring that program indicators, monitoring formats, databases, beneficiaries management, and GIS mapping are maintained and harmonized.
- He/she will also track the progress of key indicators and provide timely reports to the IS Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect information and study trends for the preparation of maps and their documentation.
- Work closely with other technical staff in order to agree on the scope of regular mapping, define data needs, project requirements, required outputs, and participate in undertaking mapping.
- Compile geographic data from a variety of sources including field observation, satellite imagery, and existing maps.
- Support conception, editing, and updating of information management systems;
- Uploading and management of surveys form on MIS platforms.
- Support IS Manager in storage and security of beneficiaries' data.
- Manage response and prioritization of requests for map products and services;
- Collection, and integration of external cartographic data as required for analysis or reporting needs.
- Map production for WASH, FSL, and Nutrition interventions.
- Maintain, organize and archive data and maps, and retrieve them when required.

Position Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, or Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
- A Minimum of 1 year MIS related work experience.
- Experience in GIS and mapping.
- Professional, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible, and, culturally sensitive.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
- Commitment to and understanding of Action Against Hunger aims, values, and principles.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with GIS and arch view, and remote sensing.
- Willing and ability to be based and travel regularly within remote areas, where services are limited.
- Previous experience with Action against Hunger.
- Strong interpersonal and community norms understanding.
- Experience in community development programming, preferably in nutrition, food security, livelihoods, or WASH.
- Experience with cartography, infographics, and other GIS platforms.
- Experience with participatory fieldwork methodologies.
Starting Gross Basic Salary / Benefits
- NGN183,056 per month (excluding other benefits)

Job Description
- We are currently looking to fill the role of Internal Audit Officer (Maternity Cover) who will be covering for the maternity leave of the incumbent and be responsible for improving the mission’s effectiveness through process analysis and risk management and reducing risks linked with noncompliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the development and implementation of the mission internal audit plan;
- Carry out internal control reviews of in-country processes including cash management, procurement, logistics, Human Resources, and stock management including food commodities, and assets management, and coordinate with the relevant departments to correct weaknesses and improve controls as needed;
- Develop a tracker to be regularly sent to the implementers with regular monitoring;
- Prepare an audit report containing a summary & analysis of the situation;
- Ensure that audit reports shows the presentation of any identified gaps, inconsistencies, and recommendations for improvements;
- Communicate and explain the final report to the Head of Department - Internal audit;
- Carry out due diligence process of partner NGOs;
- Produce and Circulate DDA report to both partner and AAH management;
- Monitor operations of partner NGOs.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field is required;
- Having or working towards professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor is a plus;
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, with at least 1 year with a not-for-profit organization;
- Ability to work with various administrative and program levels in the organization;
- Strong organization and research skills with a broad understanding of the various program sectors and activities;
- Extensive knowledge of donor rules including ECHO, FCDO, and USAID;
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly in excel;
- Fluency in English;
- Fluency in Hausa is desirable but not compulsory;
- Experience in conducting risk-based reviews of systems and processes (including a working understanding of the three lines of defense model), identifying weaknesses and areas of improvement;
- Being detail-orientated and committed to undertaking work in a logical and disciplined manner, in line with the prescribed methodology;
- Being able to demonstrate standards of ethics and integrity;
- Ability to complete multiple projects, with conflicting priorities, on a timely basis;
- Strong experience in producing high quality effective written communication e.g. reports, in English;
- Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, encouraging colleagues to contribute to common work challenges and deadlines.
Starting Basic Salary
N366,604 per month (excluding other benefits).

Job Summary
- We are currently looking to fill the role of Internal Audit Archivist (Temporary) who will be responsible to support all audit activities in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all documents as required for audit is received from Finance, Logistics, Human Resource and Programs;
- Ensure conformity of each document in line with the various policies of each department;
- Assist in carrying out of internal control reviews of in-country processes including food commodities, assets management and coordinate with the relevant department to correct weakness and improve control as needed;
- Ensure the accuracy of the labelling of each documents according to the auditor's reference code;
- Upload the documents for ease of access by the auditors.

Position Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other relevant qualifications;
- 1 - 2 years experience in Auditing;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Approachable, diplomatic, able to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment;
- Computer literacy including all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook) is a must;
- Excellent attention to detail, highly, rigorous, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently.
