We're seeking a future team member for the role of Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting to join our UK Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Manchester (hybrid).
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Review accounts and subsidiary information for collective investment vehicles ensuring timely and accurate delivery to agreed timetables and SLA standards and ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standards, relevant SORPs and other regulations
  • Supervise and monitor production of financial statements and of accounts working papers files
  • Plan, organise and monitor the production of accounts and ancillary information for collective investment vehicles
  • Liaison with appropriate external and internal parties re team deliverables

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Accounting qualification Qualified (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) or Part Qualified (ACA / ACCA) [preferable]
  • Experienced accountant with sound double entry and financial accounting knowledge including UK GAAP or equivalent standards exposure
  • Deadline driven with effective time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Option to be a people manager or individual contributor depending on experience

We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Architect to join our our Cyber division. You will be allocated to a multi-disciplinary squad delivering a range of projects for our Investment Banking clients.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Evaluate Architecture Design requirements against the applicable security control requirements and identify gaps and remediation options.
  • Identify appropriate artifacts and evidence that demonstrates compliance with security requirements and ensures control effectiveness.
  • Assist in ensuring application compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop metrics to measure progress and effectiveness across the security control landscape.
  • Strong working knowledge of risk, cyber security, security architecture principles, and Information Technology.
  • Assist with all phases of technology enhancements: identify, assess, evaluate, design, build, implement, integrate, automate and operationalize.
  • Ability to clearly document desired security outcomes, control requirements, findings
  • Understanding of public cloud technologies, shared responsibility model for cloud, and experience implementing or assessing cloud security controls.
  • 7-10+ years of work experience in cyber security
  • Working knowledge of IT control frameworks such as ITIL, NIST 800-53, ISO 27000

Preferred:

  • Experience in global Financial Services security is preferred
  • Certification in one or more of the following is a plus: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK, CCSP, TOGAF, GCP Security Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, or similar
