1.) Senior Marketing Officer, Rural Development Program

Job Overview / Summary

  • Were looking for a talented Marketing Executive who can undertake marketing projects for the benefit of our teaming farmers.
  • The candidate must be capable of organize creative campaigns and promotional events that add values to our farmers produce.
  • Ideally, the candidate must have passion for the art of marketing, have abundant ideas for building efficient strategies and must bring forth a strong arsenal of techniques/methods to promote our farm produce, services and public image.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies.
  • Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, ), exhibitions and promotional events.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.
  • Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication.
  • Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc. ).
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.
  • Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance.
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / BA in Marketing, Business Administration or any other relevant disciplines.
  • 0 - 2 years work experience.
  • Proven experience as a marketing executive or any other similar role.
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM).

  • Effectively manage talent and supervise.

  • 4-5 years of consistent, proven, and successful experience in Agricultural project
  • Demonstrated understanding or project management in a similar role/with similar responsibilities in a multi sectoral and multi donor environment
  • Strong team management experience with sound capacities to work in a diversified team

4.) MEAL Manager, Rural Development Program

Job Overview / Summary

  • The MEAL Manager for RUDEP position reports to the Program Director with technical oversight by the RUDEP Manager.
  • This position is responsible for leading all M&E related assignments and management of the IRC RUDEP Program
  • The position supports the development and implementation of the programs monitoring, evaluation and accountability strategy to ensure quality, timely, and accurate information in support of the implementation of Rudep activities.
  • This position will support the review of proposals to ensure that core sector MEAL activities are adequately captured, as well as ensure project log frames are well designed in line with the IRC and JDPM measurement standards.

Major Responsibilities
RUDEP Thematic:

  • Lead the development and deployment of RUDEP Assessment and Monitoring tools
  • Work with the JDPM coordinator in streamlining logical frameworks into RUDEP proposal and business development processes
  • Engage in the design, method and conduct of assessment, surveys and research such as Market Assessments, Needs Assessments, Price Monitoring, context analysis, baseline, and end line, and also facilitate the commission of evaluations in coordination with colleagues and partners.
  • Develop and manage RUDEP M&E data for JDPM annual stats, reports, fact sheets and updates.
  • Support program team to manage distribution lists and inventory balancing/stocktaking after distributions
  • Identify gaps in data platform usage by program and M&E staff e.g Kobotoolbox, Commcare, RedRose e.t.c. and provide training to bridge those gaps
  • Lead on presentation of RUDEP M&E data during internal and external meetings
  • Develop and Manage data tracking database for all JDPM projects portfolios which are updated in real time.
  • Review existing M&E tools, systems and approaches and design various ERD data collection tools, lead data collection processes and ensure high quality data is collected
  • Advocate for and support the expansion of standard mobile data technology and online dashboards to enhance timeless and quality data collection, analysis and visualization
  • Develop digital data collection tools and processes for online data management
  • Establish and ensure timely data flow, quality checks and audits and updating of data visualization
  • Undertake regular analysis of monitoring data and work closely with ERD technical coordinator to facilitate decision making for real time program adaptation
  • Participate in program coordination meeting and progress against M&E activities and budget on RUDEP grants.

Job Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management or any other relevant discipline.
  • A Professional certificate in relevant field is an added advantage
  • 4-5 years of consistent, proven, and successful experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning specific experience in feedback management will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated understanding or project management in a similar role/with similar responsibilities in a multi sectoral and multi donor environment
  • Strong team management experience with sound capacities to work in a diversified team
  • Willingness to work under pressure and stressful situations without minimal supervision and without compromising deadlines or quality

  • We are looking for a talented Entrepreneur and Household Economic Strengthening officer that will be responsible for incubation, coordinating, training of unemployed youths in rural area in business opportunities.
  • He/She will support the needs and market assessment working with RUDEP to identify thriving businesses within the geographical area and provide business start-up support.
  • Design, Plan and execute entrepreneurship startup and incubation programs within the working area.
  • Support the team in developing performance metrics for business of interest.
  • Develop and execute strategy for attracting youths
  • Prepare business case and initial risk analysis of startups among the youths
  • Actively support in identifying professionals and experts to join the RUDEP Expert/Advisory network to support startups in the portfolio and across projects/programs.
  • Plan and schedule all activities and sessions for startup support programs assigned.
  • Provide startup support advisory to entrepreneurs through continued strategic guidance in areas such as business modeling, market analysis, financing, fundraising, overall strategy, operations, etc.
  • Ensure tight management of milestones and progress of entrepreneurs and start-up companies.

Qualifications
