1.) Junior Accountant
Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Basic Responsibility
- Under executive direction, the purpose of the position is to perform accounting and financial work according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and regulatory requirements applicable in Nigerian accounting standards.
Accountability & Responsibility
Scope of Accountability:
- Ensures that all parts sales and servicing are issued on VAT invoices for auditing purposes.
- Ensures that we receive payment for servicing and parts.
Main Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Closing of jobs by converting from delivery to invoice for both services and counter sales on daily or weekly basis for both head office and FTZ for aftersales department.
- Raising of invoices for all aftersales customers who patronize our services within the month by writing VAT invoice for all customers.
- Generate all aftersales customers’ balances and use it in preparing receivables for aftersales department.
- Ensures that all cheques received for credit sales are followed up with the customer and presented to the bank for payment.
- Prepare monthly sales report relating to customers and brands as well as expenses for the aftersales department.
- Following up on aftersales credit customers whose outstanding are due for payment.
- Follow up and making sure all sales/cash made or received in FTZare deposited in the company’s bank account.
- Ensures that there is receipt for all VAT transactions to enable timely VAT submission returns.
- Receiving of daily sales or cash on all counter sales made within the day and paid them into our cash account by passing incoming entries for those transaction.
- Passing of entries for all payment relating to aftersales department.
Key Performance Indicators
- Ensures that all sales credits or post-dated cheques are followed up with the customer and presented to the bank on timely basis.
- Collects all receivables for the aftersales departments.
Required Profile
Technical Competencies:
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience.
- Strong Analytical skills and Attention to details
- Ability to sustain strong relationship management
- Good Planning, Prioritizing, & Organizing skills, with strong Follow-up.
- Effective Time Management with demonstrated ability to Manage tasks effectively.
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills, with ability to prepare, Presentations, and Reports.
- Strong computer skills (use of Microsoft Office Products, Accounting ERP (SAP)- Word, Excel, Power Point…).

2.) Sales Advisor (x17)
Job Title: Sales Advisor

Basic Responsibilities
- To promote and sell HMD’s product portfolio to existing and new clients,
- Establish and maintain relationship with clients by means of calling and visiting .
Accountability & Responsibilities
Scope of Accountability:
- To effectively promote sales of the HMD’s heavy construction equipment and machinery.
- Plan and implement customer call program to cover the entire HMD’s mining, construction equipment and machineries, Forestry, Material and Transportation product range such as Doosan Excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, Bomag Rollers, Bobcat Backhoes and skid steers, Carmix concrete mixers and Iveco trucks with the assigned territory.
- Consistently maintaining the existing client database within the company’s core values.
- Coordinate with After Market, & Rental teams to achieve business objectives.
- Be abreast with our product portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Meeting the customers and giving product presentations
- Negotiating and convincing the customers to buy the products
- Making cold calls to find the prospective customers and recommending standard products to the customers.
- Also, performing the job of selling maintenance and repair services to the prospective clients.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project number of contacts to be made.
- Actively use territory management tools to prospect, source and maintain quality customers in assigned area.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and Keeping records of customer follow ups
- Actively engage in collecting the receivables
- Gathering intelligence data from competition and forwarding to the sales manager so that effective strategies can be decided upon.
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries.
- Study customer needs and coordinate customer service.
- Prepare for and attend exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.

Required Profile
Education:

- Country Experience is a major plus; Machinery Experience (or B2B company) is a major plus.

3.) Senior Accountant
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Basic Responsibility
- Under executive direction, the purpose of the position is to perform accounting and financial work according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and regulatory requirements applicable in Ghana accounting standards.
Accountability & Responsibility
Scope of Accountability:
- Ensures that all accountants complete their monthly returns and submissions on time to avoid penalties.
- Ensures that all entries, journals, prepaid, amortizations, fixed assets register have supportive documents for audit trails.
Main Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Monthly journal entries for fixed assets register amortization to be posted into the P&L and ensuring its physical location for compliance
- Ensuring that the company is aligned on company tax on monthly basis based on the self-assessment made at the beginning of the year.
- Ensuring that all accruals made in the accounts are paid or reversed at the end of the final year after seeking approval.
- Allocate all related landed cost to every single machine or parts to ensure correct gross profit after each sales
- On a yearly basis review the final draft accounts with the external auditor to ensure classification and presentation of accounts conforms to Ghana accounting standard and finally make sure that the self-assessment projected at the beginning of the year is aligned for company tax purposes.
- On a monthly basis review the month’s accounts and ensures all transactions are captured for that month and no transaction is posted when the month is closed.
- Update the stock situation on a monthly basis to ensure that the physical stock counts aligns with what is in the accounts.
Key Performance Indicators
- Ensures all accountant's reports, and submit payments on a monthly basis to avoid penalties and sanctions
- Ensure that every posting or journal posted into the accounts has supportive documentation and is approved for audit trails.
- Ensures that month on months accounts are close before 15th of each months
Required Profile
Education:
- B.Sc. Accounting or its equivalent
Technical Competencies:

4.) Telesales Advisor
Job Title: Telesales Advisor
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Basic Responsibilities
- To maintain contact with HMD customers, and ensure database information is updated/accurate.
- To promote HMD products and service by supporting Sales, After Sales and Service departments.
- To provide internal support for customer enquiries and complaints.
- To prospect for and establish relationships with new business customers through call drives.
- To attend marketing and brand activations as deemed necessary.
- To manage call portfolio and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
- To initiate opportunities for rentals and the sale of used, machinery.
- To follow up on outstanding quotations and facilitate closing the transaction.
- To achieve and exceed telephone call and appointment related KPIs
Accountability & Responsibility
Scope of Accountability:
- To ensure that the database is updated daily with details of all incoming telephone activity.
- To plan and implement your own customer telephone call follow up strategy, in line with the portfolio and quarterly strategy set by H.O.D.
- Consistently maintaining the existing client database within the company’s core values.
- Be abreast with our product portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- To make telephone calls and manage information on our customer base.
- Make cold calls to find prospective customers and book appointments for sales advisors
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets.
- Actively use the CRM to prospect, source and maintain customer contact in assigned area.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from enquiries and referrals and Keeping records of customer follow ups
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer enquiries.
- Maintain a professional image always through personal actions and initiatives.
- Enhance the company’s reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values.
- Prepare reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achieve the set call and appointment KPIs and targets
- Maintain career objectives, by achieving goals set at quarterly performance review sessions.
- Attitude towards work and colleagues
- Maintain a minimum of 35 Telephone contacts a day
- Book 10 QUALIFIED appointments a week for sales advisors
- Ensure that 20 of your booked appointments move to the next stage of the sales process (SQL) every month.
- Provide, daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
- Achieve 3 closed transactions (TRAINEE ADVISOR) and 5 closed TRANSACTIONS (ADVISOR) PER MNTH THROUGH appointments you have booked or transactions you followed up and initiated the closing opportunity.
- Month 1 KPIs will be waived due to on boarding process
- Month 2 KPIs will be prorated to 50% of call, booked appointments and conversions targets
- Month 3 KPIs will take effect in full
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports as required and maintain accuracy of information captured on CRM system to HMD required standard
- KPIs will be reviewed after first 6 months of engagement and/or during quarterly performance review sessions.
Required Profile
Education:
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration
- Excellent telephone tone and manner.
- Must be competent in excel, word and CRM systems.
