Masterman Publications Limited is recruiting to fill the following positions:

1.) Head of Publishing
2.) Secretary/Front Desk Executive.

   

 

Masterman Publications Limited is one of the leaders in publishing in Ghana. The company was incorporated on February 17, 1994, under the relevant laws of Ghana and registered under the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179) as a Limited Liability Company.

The company, which started as a Printing Press and General Merchants, is now dedicated to the activity of making information available to the general public by preparing and issuing books and other readable materials for sale.

1.) Head of Publishing

Qualification: First or Second Degree in B.A. Publishing Studies

Experience: A minimum of 5 years Working Experience in a similar position.

Duties:

  1. Proof reading and editing of manuscripts
  2. Co-ordinate the work of writers, editors, illustrators, designers, etc.
  3. Assessment of manuscripts
  4. Other Book Development related duties.

Age Limit: Applicants should not be more than 50 years.

Location: Our office is located in Odorkor, Accra.

2.) Secretary/Front Desk Executive

Qualification: First Degree in the Social Sciences

Experience: A minimum of 3 years

Duties:

  • Typing of handwritten manuscripts
  • Assisting the Book Development Officer in Editing and Proof-reading of Manuscripts
  • Photocopying and Filing copies of documents, correspondence
  • Distribution of internal documents and correspondence
  • Drafting, typing and printing of correspondence/other documents for Management
  • Maintaining customer database
  • Updating of Leave records database
  • Sending, checking and responding to emails
  • Assisting with general office tasks and assignments
  • Relaying information and messages to MPL employees/ company visitors, customers (via walk-in or phone enquiries).
  • Making enquiries for management via phone calls

Age Limit: Not more than 40 years.

Location: Our office is located in Odorkor, Accra.
