1.) Executive Assistant - Head of Regional Centre for Innovative Teaching (RCIT)
Location: Nigeria

The Opportunity
- The Executive Assistant for the Head of RCIT will provide comprehensive administrative support to include the management of meeting/event scheduling, coordination of travel as well as support of RCIT Team for designated administrate tasks.
- He/she will lead coordination of Foundation internal matters in close alignment with other Executive Assistants and Foundation staff.
- The successful candidate will be based in one of our country offices in Rwanda or Kenya.

Ways You Can Contribute
Executive and Administrative Support:
- Manage and coordinate internal and external events/meetings for the Head of RCIT - act as an effective ‘gatekeeper’ while ensuring access to the Head of RCIT.
- Prepare/coordinate talking points, pre-read materials and Agenda.
- Capture complete and detailed minutes of meeting, ensure timely distribution to attendees and related staff.
- Lead follow-up on post meeting/events actions to support Head of Region, designated staff.
- Coordinate logistics including room bookings, catering, refreshments etc.
- Manage and coordinate Head of RCIT travel arrangements, to include accommodation, ground/air transport, immigration/ Visa/immunization details.
- Prepare and submit expense reports accurately and efficiently in line with organizational policies.
- Support RCIT team in the following areas:
- Manage program team calendar including prioritizing and resolving scheduling conflicts as required.
- Coordinate logistics of project meetings and events including room bookings, catering, refreshments etc. Prepare meeting materials as appropriate.
- Facilitate internal communication within the Regional Offices.
- Maintain organization of the database, shared network drives and SharePoint sites.
Communication and Documentation:
- Compose routine correspondence to support Head of RCIT interaction with internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Support to coordinate and compile material for (Foundation) Board and reporting.
- Support distribution of correspondence from Head of RCIT to Country/Regional staff.
- Organize and maintain documentation/files related to Head of RCIT.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build, liaise and sustain relationships with Executive Assistants /offices for Mastercard Foundation key partners, stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide support in budget preparation and forecasting for the events related to Head of RCIT activities.
- Provide backup to other (Foundation) Executive Assistant /Administrators as required.
Who You Are
- College diploma or University degree is required.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role in a fast-paced multinational environment with regional experience.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent planning and logistical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, exhibiting grace under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Office 365 and SharePoint).

The Opportunity
- The Talent Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment efforts to meet the growing needs of Mastercard Foundation across the organization for Programs, Impact, Operations, People and Culture and Public Affairs and Communication across Africa. The individual will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities from sourcing to selection and will collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to understand best fit talent for the organization.
- The individual will require a level of intellectual curiosity to understand some senior, complex and sophisticated roles within the organization. You will enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with a strong collaborative culture. Your strong sense of urgency, highly diplomatic interpersonal skills, knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, and experience identifying talent will make you successful in this role.

- Oversee the recruitment and selection process for several operational and programmatic areas of the Foundation
- Partner with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of needs that support and progress the Young Africa Works.
- Play a key role in partnering across the business to advise and execute on best practices for acquiring talent. This includes screening and behavioural interviewing, negotiations and compensation, and closing strategies to ensure timely recruitment milestones are met.
- Provide excellent communication with hiring managers, colleagues and other relevant stakeholders throughout the recruitment and selection process.

Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree or diploma and/or a postgraduate certificate in Business or Human Resources.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in full cycle recruitment in Africa; Agency and corporate experience is preferred.
- Proven success in direct sourcing talent and talent mapping for niche roles in domestic and foreign markets.
- Experience in full cycle recruitment at all levels from junior roles to executive C-Suite positions in an international context.
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations surrounding recruitment and selection practices in multiple African countries.

The Opportunity
- As the Partner, Scholars Program Communications you will work as an integral part of Program Communications team working closely with the Scholars Program to ensure that communications efforts are integrated and aligned with program objectives as the seek to expand the Scholars Program, to support transitions to work and to expand the Baobab platform. This position will report to the Lead, Scholars Program Communications.
- The successful candidate will be based in one of our country offices in Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria or Ghana).

- Work collaboratively with the Program Communications colleagues to ensure consistency of messaging and integration of activities and content.
- Act as a representative and advocate for the Scholars Program, clearly and confidently presenting the Program to the general public, potential scholars, civil society audiences etc.
- Facilitate effective relationships, and dialogues with strategic partners.
- Support the Head, Program Communications in delivery of the unit’s strategic priorities under the direction of the Lead, Scholars Program Communications
- Travel within the region to support/mentor and/or to carry out the implementation of communication and outreach activities with strategic partners as required.
- Liaise with assigned partners ensuring alignment with Program and Foundation branding.
- Development of the alumni network and expansion of the Baobab platform.
- Work with Scholars Program team and Youth Engagement team to plan and execute SMART cross-platform (digital, social, and Baobab platform) content and campaigns.
- Work with the Youth Engagement team and alumni to execute a communications strategy that contributes to and supports the goals of the alumni network expanded Baobab platform.
- Ensure communications channels are used effectively, campaigns are measured, and learning/best practices are identified and shared with communications colleagues.
- Amplify the voices of Mastercard Foundation Alumni, encouraging and enabling first-person story-telling.
- Position Mastercard Foundation Alumni as transformative leaders driving change in their communities and across the content.
- Develop and execute media strategies for programs and activities related to the alumni networks.
- Ensure partner program materials (i.e. social media, brochures, digital properties, and other content) are aligned to brand guidelines and messaging.
- With the Lead, Scholars Program Communications, provide support to the Head of Program Communications on emerging crisis communication needs.
- Work collaboratively with the Program Communications colleagues to ensure consistency of messaging and integration of activities and content.

4.) Accounts Payable Accountant

The Opportunity
- Reporting to the Accounts Payable Lead and a valued member of the Shared Services Team, the Accounts Payable Accountant (2) reviews and processes multi-currency payments including electronic fund transfers (EFT), automated clearing house (ACH) and wire transfers in a timely manner ensuring accuracy of information and compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Ideal candidate can meet deadlines while providing a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

- Review and process payments globally, including EFT, ACH and wire transfers for payment of invoices, program disbursements, expense reports and payroll funding ensuring accuracy of amounts, bank account information, and vendor details.
