1.) Human Resources Specialist
International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking a qualified, team-oriented, and energetic human resource professional to support our various human trafficking interventions. This position is responsible for establishing and implementing a human resource, strategy, and action plan aligned with the Regional and Global People Strategy and in collaboration with Global Chief People Officer. This position supports West Africa operations and collaborates with sub-regional leaders to integrate HR services centered on the employee experience and engagement in accordance with IJM policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for ensuring excellent processes to enhance talent management, talent development, talent acquisition and talent engagement as well as continuous improvement of human resources policies and programs to align the workforce with IJM’s core values and program objectives.
This position is stationed in Accra and requires occasional travel.

Responsibilities
• Talent acquisition, engagement, and development;
• Designing and implementing regional West Africa HR strategies, policies, and protocols;
• Maintaining high quality onboarding and offboarding procedures;
• Ensuring a healthy staff care program;
• Assisting leadership in spiritual formation activities;
• Maintaining IJM’s core values and culture across various offices and divisions;
• Establishing and managing relationships with benefits providers and ensuring quality benefits for staff at affordable rates across offices; and
• Any other task that the Director of Support Services assigns.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Master’s degree in human resources management or organizational development;
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the HR field;
• Membership in the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana (CIHRM) in good standing;
• Extensive knowledge of the relevant labor laws;
• Extensive experience creating HR policy and process
• Experience in change management;
• Demonstrated skills in strategic planning and management for results;
• Extensive experience of working in multi-cultural and international environments; and
• Ability to frequently travel to other offices within the region.

2.) Law Enforcement Specialist (x2)
International Justice Mission (IJM) is a fast growing international organization working to protect some of the most vulnerable and oppressed people from violent forces of injustice by securing rescue and restoration for victims and ensuring public justice systems work for the poor. IJM is seeking a law enforcement specialist who will be responsible for conducting and monitoring human trafficking investigations with Ghana Police and securing reliable, timely and actionable information concerning victims and perpetrators of criminal activity within the project area. There are two positions open, one is based in Accra, the other in Tamale. Both positions require frequent travel.
Responsibilities
• Investigate matters of human trafficking on Volta Lake;
• Conduct collaborative and independent surveillance to locate victims and suspects;
• Recruit and maintain a network of operatives and informants who provide reliable, timely and actionable information regarding cases of forced labor trafficking on the lake;
• Assist investigation team in strategizing human trafficking investigations;
• Write detailed, daily investigative reports;
• Assist in the planning of rescue and arrest operations;
• Train police partners on international best standards
• Assist IJM in building relationships of mutual trust and benefit with Ghana Police officials and non-government actors;
• Assist in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of strategies and best practices for effective IJM-assisted investigations and interventions on behalf of victims;
• Serve, if necessary, as a witness within criminal court;
• Comply with all IJM, government, and donor requirements;
• Work with the IJM legal team to ensure successful prosecutions in court;
• Carry out additional assignments as required by the Director of Investigations, Country Director or his/her designee.

Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred but not required;
• Minimum 3 years employment with the Ghana Police Service or similar law enforcement entity;
• Fluency and professionalism in oral and written communication in English as well as Ada, Ewe or Krobo;
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred but not required; and
• No criminal record.

• Willingness to work under potentially hazardous conditions;
