1.) Network Engineer (CCIE)
Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Full time
Description
- We are seeking an exceptional Network Engineer to join our Networks and Communications Services team.
- This is a highly technical, hands-on role in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- The successful candidate will have a mixture of deep technical know-how as well as excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.
What you will be doing:
- Work with cross-functional technical teams to assist with system architecture focusing on network design, network security and network data transfer optimization
- Work with Access Bank’s Global Network System teams to resolve network related issues impacting LAN and WAN infrastructure
- Operational monitoring of data network infrastructures and load-balancers
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the networks and carrying out scheduled maintenance activities
- Resolution of network faults (support)
- Manage escalations of network faults or performance issues to the next level and upper management.
- Carry out approved changes to the network infrastructures
- Work with firewalls and other standard network security equipment and software
- Liaise and coordinate with international counterparts for various project implementations.
- Maintain documentation of the environment and operational procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- CCIE Certification
- At least 6 years’ hands -on experience including 2 years’ post CCIE in the Telecommunications or Financial Services industry
- Must have led / supervised a team of at least 4 Network Engineers
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP (both IPv4/IPv6)
- Experience and knowledge of BGP and Internet Routing Policies
- Extensive knowledge of both Cisco IOS/NX-OS and JUNOS
- Strong working knowledge of the following: wireless security architecture and protocols; access control methodologies; VPN technologies, including IPSec, 3DES, AES, IKE, DMVPN; PCI and SOX standards and compliance, and Layer 2 security controls
- Expertise with standard Linux utilities and programs (grep, sed, awk, sort, traceroute, tcpdump, etc)
- Experience automating workflows through scripting (Python, Perl, or Ansible).

2.) Agric Business Head, Commercial Banking Division
Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Full time
Description
- As the head of Agric Business in Commercial Banking, you’ll take a lead role in delivering an outstanding experience to our Agricultural customers.
- You’ll acquire, manage, retain meaningful relationships with our customers, using your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions to help address their financial needs
Responsibilities
- Reports to the Executive Director Supervising Agric Business Group
- Responsible for providing policy direction on agricultural lending processes and procedures.
- Responsible for developing processes, procedures and products for the SBU.
- Responsible for assessing Agric credit risks in liaison with credit risk management.
- Responsible for developing business/market along viable Agricultural value chains.
- Responsible for managing all Agric lending activities with Business Unit’s and Credit Risk teams.
- Responsible for maintaining an “intelligent” database of all Agric Business activities and reporting in liaison with other units.
- Responsible for monitoring the portfolio performance in line with banks objectives and targets.
- Responsible for administration and supervision of all Agric Business Group’s staff.
- Responsible for training, discipline and performance of Agric Business Group’s staff.
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by Executive Director.
Requirements
Desired Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Banking and in the Agric Sector. A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of commercial banking; commercial credit knowledge and an ability to quickly learn new products and services
- Possesses sound judgment and is creative in providing credit/deposit solutions to bank clients
- Significant experience with commercial credit decision making authority, with experience in complex capital structures and cross border transactions
- Minimum intermediate level credit skills with the capability to demonstrate advanced level credit skills to be appointed a senior credit officer
- Able to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external constituencies
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams through complex change; a reputation for retaining, attracting and developing talent
- Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to express a sound opinion, able to agreeably present another viewpoint
- Must have a sharp business development focus and demonstrate innovative approaches.
