1.) WASH Programme Manager
Job Title: WASH Programme Manager

Job Description
- Action Against Hunger is currently looking to fill the role of a WASH Programme Manager, who will be responsible to Identify and implement quality, relevant and innovative WASH interventions in accordance with the strategy, ACF and international standards and national policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote cross-sectoral integration of the WASH sector with other sectors in collaboration with the Project Coordinator;
- To participate, if necessary, in the development of the WASH/NFI/Shelter part of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) in its area of intervention;
- The inclusion of cross-cutting challenges in WASH responses (Protection, COVID 19, gender, disaster risk management, environment, disability, etc.);
- Identifying and reporting on humanitarian WASH needs in its area of operation;
- Implementation of the WASH program(s) in accordance with the intervention's logical framework, budget, and ACF's logistical and administrative procedures. The quality of the programs implemented in accordance with ACF's technical and project management standards;
- The timely writing of the WASH parts of the external and internal reports to be submitted in connection with the projects to Grants HOD;
- Identification and implementation of safety measures for teams and populations (distribution site, community work site, etc.);
- To equip and use the water quality testing lab;
- Taking lead in Nganzai LGA WASH LGA coordination and contribute to other LGA coordination;
- Coordinating its activities with other sectors and departments of ACF for a rationalized use of resources and maximum integration;
- Participating in donor visits at the request of the Country Director or Field Coordinator;
- Representing ACF and ensuring relations with partners, authorities, UN agencies and NGOs in its sector in collaboration with the Field Coordinator. Contributing to the selection process, formalization and capacity building of partners (local NGO, international NGO, national authorities, private sector, etc.);
- Building the capacity of WASH implementing partners and stakeholders;
- Management of the team (animation, follow-up, motivation);
- Conducting performance evaluation of the team according to HR policy;
- The development of the team training plan.

Position Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Public Health related field in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene;
- Knowledge of humanitarian principles, sphere and HAP standards and other international humanitarian WASH guidelines Min. 4 years experience as a professional in international NGO context, with a sound knowledge of WASH issues in crisis contexts;
- Good anticipation, planning skill, especially in changing work contexts;
- Problem solving ability; able to enforce procedures;
- Experience communicating in different cultural work environments & with a wide diversity of culture;
- Experience in attending and contributing in meetings with government and other agencies;
- Good communicator: verbal and written. Diplomatic skills are a plus;
- Ability to work with little or no supervision and attention to details;
- Willingness and ability to travel to the field for program monitoring and supportive visits.

2.) Senior ICT Officer
Job Title: Senior ICT Officer

Job Description
- Action Against Hunger is currently looking to fill the role of a Senior ICT Officer, who will be responsible to manage the operation of the Capital with regard to the use of information technologies (computers, internet and telecommunications).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the maintenance of computers and check daily / monthly that preventive and corrective maintenance tasks have been carried out;
- Configure the backups on the workstations and ensure that they are carried out in compliance with the standards and the backup policy;
- Manage equipment assignments and all related documents;
- Monitor the repair and movement of equipment;
- Anticipate and identify needs in connection with his/her manager, participate in the development of budgets and place orders;
- Report to the hierarchy any problem related to the management of equipment;
- Ensure the follow-up of any external service providers (maintenance and repair services, etc.);
- Install and maintain the local networks of the capital according to the standards (kitlog);
- Check that network equipment is working properly;
- Supervise the data backup system (backup policy);
- Ensure the functioning and monitoring of the means of communication in the capital;
- Ensure the follow-up of local telecommunications providers (Internet, fixed and mobile telephony, etc.) and the rationalization of associated costs;
- Ensure the technological watch in terms of internet connection and means of telecommunications;
- Train users in the proper use of ICT resources, the ICT basics and compliance with security rules upon arrival and at regular intervals;
- Treat all users in a respectful and fair manner, in accordance with ACF's code of conduct and policies (gender, safeguarding, etc.);
- Carry out a monthly inventory and update the equipment list;
- Make an ICT activity report on a monthly basis and send it to his/her managers;

- Organize any donations / recycling in compliance with the standards at the end of the contract.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Telecommunications, Engineering or related fields;
- Professional certificate(s) and/or trainings in the ICT related fields;
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in similar responsibilities is required;
- Previous experience working for NGOs an asset, particularly international related NGOs;
- Capacity for analysis, synthesis and reporting of large amounts of information;

Job Description
- Action Against Hunger is currently looking to fill the role of Environment Logistics Senior Officer who will be responsible to pilot/test the environmental actions of the logistics action plan at the mission level.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assessments during visits;
- Monitor/identify the volume and categories of waste by office and guesthouse, map the recycling channels present in the areas of intervention during site visits;
- Identify the hazardous waste management channels;
- Develop the collection process in the capital office and bases, towards the recycling channels;
- Initiate contracts/frameworks with the recycling and waste management sectors;
- Collect/capitalize program expectations on waste (written report to be relayed to coordination and headquarters);
- Identify the types/composition of packaging and supplier;
- List quality & environmental standards and labels at country level (according to strategic markets);
- Collect data and indicator tracking table (KPIs);
- Ensure internal communication on the results obtained at the level of the mission and headquarters.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management or Supply Chain Management / Logistics;
- Minimum of 2 years extensive experience in environmental or waste management project or supply chain/logistics, preferably in humanitarian or development work;
- Working knowledge of the federal, state or local environmental and waste regulations;

4.) Deputy Country Director - Support

Responsibilities
- As a member of the Senior Management Team of the mission, you provide leadership and management of all the support services functions and systems within the mission, including logistics, finance and HR & administration management to ensure quality support to programme implementation.
More precisely, you:
- Coordinate support department work plans, projects implementation plan, departmental strategies and plans of action from development to implementation.

- You have an experience an experience of working within an insecure environment with responsbility for security planning, monitoring and management.
- You have a good understanding of risk management.
- You have strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills and an ability to organize work efficiently and deliver assignments in a timely manner often under time constraints.

Conditions
International Package:
- Fixed term contract under French legislation: 12 months
- Monthly gross salary from 2899 to 3,376 Euros upon experience
- Reimbursement of the pension insurance for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
- Annual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract
