1.) Reseller Solutions Manager

 

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description

  • The Reseller Solutions Manager for Meta’s Sub Saharan Africa team is a strategic and enthusiastic solution-driver who puts our channel partners at the core of everything we do.
  • This is an outstanding opportunity to manage our partners to drive business growth for Meta, serve as a consultative product expert, and lead media planning, strategy and measurement to our partners.
  • This role is responsible for building capability of partners around Meta products and solutions, enabling them to be our extended sales force in the local market to scale business for Meta.
  • Success in this position requires strong presentation, consultative sales and analytical skills, focus on solution, excel at working with internal cross-functional partners, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against tight deadlines.
  • This position is based in either our Johannesburg or Lagos office.

Job Responsibilities

    • In partnership with Reseller Partner, identify, create, and implement marketing solutions grounded on achieving business goals for our advertisers (clients and agencies)
    • Serve as external product consultant educating Reseller Partner teams and advertisers on product solutions and driving product adoption
    • Use data and insights to guide strategy and implementation of Meta solutions
    • Manage, guide and steer the Reseller Partner and its outreach to advertisers (e.g. clients, media agencies, marketing partners, etc.) and mutually drive their business growth to meet quota and KPI’s and collaborate with a diverse group of internal cross functional teams (XFN)
    • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and be a trusted partner to our Reseller Partner




  • Enable Reseller Partner and advertisers to elevate core capability and accelerate business transformation with talent and martech development to sustain long-term business excellence
  • Enable Reseller Partner and advertisers to achieve operational excellence including and not limited to system debug, troubleshooting, ads review and case escalations
  • Guide Reseller Partner teams to educate, advise and influence advertisers and partners to follow Meta platform policy and sustain a healthy revenue growth
  • Partner, oversee and enhance overall reseller business and operational efficiency
  • Manage complex work streams with internal cross-functional partners and product teams
  • Guide media and creative strategy, planning, and implementation of campaigns to deliver against KPIs
  • Outline and oversee measurement strategy, tracking, and results delivery
  • Identify optimization opportunities for improving performance.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience working directly with marketing, media, consulting, and/or companies with channel partner relationships, with demonstrated leadership experience
  • Be effective and creative in problem-solving, with capable decision-making and prioritization skills
  • Experience in working effectively with XFN teams and all levels of management
  • Ability to manage complex work streams while maintaining strict attention to details
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate and work effectively on a team
  • Ability to confidently present to external clients
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, where necessary
  • High intellectual curiosity and hunger to learn in an ambiguous environment
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis, feel comfortable leveraging data to optimize solutions for partners
  • Understand our value and interested in building communities.
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advertiser account management skills preferred.

2.) Market Specialist, Market Operations, Nigeria (Yoruba)

 

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Job Description

  • Every day, people come to Facebook to connect with friends and family, discover what's going on in the world, interact with businesses, find potential customers, and build community. Facebook’s Global Operations team exists to help them.
  • Within Global Risk Operations, GO Markets’ goal is to reduce bad experiences for people - including businesses and advertisers - who use Facebook.
  • We analyze global, local, and language-based trends and nuances and collaborate with other Facebook teams to make changes that help people form stronger, more meaningful connections using our platforms.
  • Market Specialists work collaboratively to create a safe environment for both users and businesses from their country on Facebook and Instagram.
  • They do this by using their deep and current understanding of social, political and historic events impacting the community they support.
  • Our team is seeking a solutions-oriented, data-savvy Market Specialist who is passionate about providing a great support experience for our community of users.
  • You will work with the Israel Markets team to review content reported for potential abuse, resolve user account issues, improve the overall support experience for that market, as well as solve thematic global issues.
  • You will be part of a data-driven analysis culture and will also help scale our operations by optimizing and automating processes, solving problems and, most importantly, helping to prevent them.

Responsibilities

  • Use market specific knowledge, signals and insights to spot and scope scalable solutions to improve the support of our community of users in Nigeria
  • Perform expert review of high-risk and escalated content (incl. content that may be graphic and objectionable) and ads on Facebook and Instagram against a set of guidelines called the Community Standards.
  • In the unlikely event that the continuity of our business or elements of our business are at risk, a Market Specialist will be requested to support with the moderation of additional content (incl. content that may be graphic and objectionable)
  • Analyse data that comes out of such reviews and transform information into valuable operational insight for the community they support
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of the support provided to users/businesses based on their analyses.
  • Identify country, language and cultural insights and work with a host of teams across Facebook to inform actions that will create a safe environment for users from Nigeria.
  • Provide regular enforcement feedback to our vendors who moderate content on an everyday basis.
  • Collaborate cross market and cross org to understand impact of potential changes (e.g. product or policy changes) on wider community.
  • Understand, identify, and mitigate risks toward user & business on-platform by analysing events and trends on and off-platform.
  • Develop and share subject matter expertise across areas of safety abuse and/or account support at global level.




Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's
  • 1+ years of professional experience within the operations, policy, consulting, project management or analytics environment
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Nigeria and native fluency in Yoruba are essential to translate and appreciate language nuances on our platform to support our community of users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical and data skills such as Excel and SQL OR experience with visualisation tools such as Tableau to drive efficient analytics and reporting
  • Fluency in Hausa, Fulani or Igbo are a plus.
