1.) Assistant Estate Officer
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the Authority’s Assets Register.
- Recommend to Management the allocation of the Authority’s residential buildings to staff
- Assist Management to ensure proper furnishing of offices and residential premises of the Authority.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the Authority’s buildings and their surrounding environment
- Any other work assigned by the Management of GGSA in furtherance of the Authority’s objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Candidates interested in this position must:
- possess a minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably Estate Management, Land Economy, or a related discipline awarded by a recognised University or institution.
- have a minimum of two (2) years post qualification relevant work experience in a reputable public or private sector organisation.
- have completed the statutory National Service
- have good organisational skills
- have good interpersonal and communication skills
- be computer literate.

2.) Assistant Geoscientists
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of Senior Geoscientists, the ideal candidate(s) would be required to:
- Conduct geological (field) mapping and collect rock samples for petrographical and geochemical investigations/analysis
- Participate in field research to determine the occurrence and distribution of economic minerals in various part of the country
- Participate in various geological, geophysical, geochemical, seismological, geotechnical and other surveys periodically undertaken by the Authority.
- Assist in the collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of geoscience data, including clays and ceramic materials
- Any other work assigned by the Management of GGSA in furtherance of the Authority’s objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Candidates for this position must:
- possess a minimum of Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geosciences awarded by a tertiary institution.
- have at least two (2) years relevant experience in a reputable public or private sector organisation.
- have completed the statutory National Service
- have good interpersonal and communication skills
- be computer literate Knowledge in and ability to use various geoscientific software such as ArcGIS, Mapinto, QGIS, Delta Gr

3.) Assistant Transport Officer
JOB PURPOSE
To provide operational support in the management of transport operations of the Authority
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide inputs for the management of acquisition, distribution, maintenance, utilisation and disposal of vehicles, vehicle-related and fuel for the Authority
- Collect data for the preparation of fleet management plan, budget. annual and other periodic reports for the Authority
- Managing and reporting of incidents involving official vehicles of the Authority
- Any other work assigned by the Management of GGSA in furtherance of the Authority’s objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Candidates for this position must:
- possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent from an accredited tertiary institution.
- a minimum of two (2) years post-qualification work experience: in a reputable public or private sector organisation.
- have completed one (1) year National Service d) pass a competitive interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with the Public Services Commission

4.) Assistant Ceramists
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct fieldwork, including sitting, logging and sampling of pits activities to delineate clay-type materials and products
- Assist in the preparation of clay samples, as well as firing and conducting of physical tests
- Assist in the collection and compilation of data on clay and ceramic materials
- Assist in the design and fabrication of clay products
- Any other work assigned by the Management of GGSA in furtherance of the Authority’s objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Candidates for this position must:
- possess a minimum of Bachelor of Industrial Arts (Ceramics Option) awarded by a recognised tertiary institution.
- have at least two (2) years relevant experience in a reputable public or private sector organisation
- have completed the statutory National Service
- assist in the collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of data on clay materials and products
- have good interpersonal and communication skills

5.) Drilling Engineering Technicians
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute drilling operations.
- Provide immediate and effective solutions to operational continuity. equipment malfunctions and other on-site problems
- Organise and supervise drilling activities and ensure rig-specific procedures are understood and observed by drilling team(s)
- Recommend adjustments to drilling parameters as and when necessary to improve the overall performance during drilling operations
- Assist in ensuring that sufficient stock of parts and materials are maintained
- Ensure and enforce safety and disaster recovery procedures
- Costing and scheduling of drilling operations
- Any other work assigned by the Management of GGSA in furtherance of the Authority’s objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of Diploma in General Drilling or related discipline awarded by a recognised tertiary institution
- A minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in a reputable public or private sector organisation
- Have completed the statutory National Service
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Effective organisational and time management skills
