1.) Execution Manager

Job Description
- We are currently looking to hire an Execution Manager to join our team in Lagos.
- He/She will be responsible for the successful execution of local products (excluding Warehouses, depots and Air) business in Nigeria -Customs house brokerage and Landside transport.
- Planning and executing across brands, delivering lowest possible cost, while delivering on the customer promise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute cost savings plans in line with procurement to deliver a consistently deflationary cost profile while maintaining excellent standards of safety and reliability, including efficient planning and triangulation
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with both established and new suppliers
- Manage team and vendors to help deliver an excellent customer experience through timely and cost-efficient delivery
- In case required, may contact customers
- Legal compliance related to Customs regulations and AEO obligations
- Assure the accomplishment of vendor onboarding, proactive support and end-to-end issue resolution
- Drive collaboration between cross-functional teams in scope of CX
- Apply products direction setting
- Identify process gaps and be actively involved in working on improvements to key processes to improve productivity and service levels to get on time delivery and proactive notification to the customer
- Improve the asset utilization of key transport modes including contracted rail and truck networks
- Drive process optimization for nonphysical products.
- Drive process efficiency, improve complaint resolution timeliness, optimize by challenging business rules/limitations and improve E2E service delivery to customers
- Check for additional business opportunities on satisfactory resolution of issues.
- Empower the team to suggest alternate viable solutions and actively resolve customers complaints within stipulated timeframe
- Share best practice and knowledge within the team
Requirements
We are looking for
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline. An MBA will be an advantage
- 4+ years of transport logistics work experience with proven track record across operations & executions
- Experience in logistics or freight forwarding operations
- Experience of working with wide variety of complex operational challenges and ability to solve problems and take decisions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Very organized, proactive and dynamic
- Prioritization capabilities
- understanding of the local market landscape

2.) SCM Customer Experience Agent
Ref.: MA-250058
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the end-to-end customer service delivery for the SCM customer with Key drivers such as: operational execution across products, timely delivery of documents, pro-active communication, exception management & invoicing
- Create & Own IOPs, SOPs and KPIs for client specific requirements including invoicing, claims handling, dispute escalation / resolution, and exceptions
- Execute booking with logistics partners
- Planning and communication with our accounts, their vendors and shippers (Vendor coordination)
- Lead quarterly/monthly performance discussions with the customer as well as internally
- Monitor, record and report the performance with recommendations on: Service Delivery Wins, Service Failures, Improvement Areas & Action Plans
- Monitor key parameters: volume growth & delivery, invoice timelines & GP realization
- Working on Root causes and improving Shipper performance as per the SOP deliverables.
- Timely and correct MODS update (as per procedure with GSC) –
- Vendor Creation /Sales Order Confirmation/Carrier Booking Confirmation.
- Customer Pricing Database - quotation database, maintenance of local charges / tariff, and credit and pricing approval.
- Work with the Commercial team to establish and strengthen customer relationship
- Customer Advisory System - maintain an up to date knowledge of market conditions affecting service, including congestion, surcharges, strikes, border closures, natural disasters, etc. and to oversee the creation and issue of customer advisory notices to Commercial Offices and to customers.
- Obtain system expert or super user knowledge in one or more of the key systems used in to support your customer’s scope of work
- Claims Register - ensure claims are received, acknowledged, and handled in accordance with Maersk Policy.
We Are Looking For
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline. An MBA will be an advantage
- 4+ years of solid SCM/4PL work experience with proven track record across operations & executions
- Possess knowledge of both Exports & Imports processes
- Experience in logistics or freight forwarding operations
- Experience of working with wide variety of complex operational challenges and ability to solve problems and take decisions
- Ability to interface with senior leadership stakeholders within & outside the organization
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

He/She will be responsible:
- To manage assigned customers and budget base; pursue and secure business in line with the business objectives. Deliver volume targets while remaining focused on relationship with customer portfolio
