1.) Junior Account Officer

Job Title: Junior Account Officer

Location: Apapa Expressway, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Junior Finance Officer will support the finance team in managing accounting records, financial transactions, and reporting activities.
  • This role is ideal for fresh graduates with 1 to 2 years’ experience with a degree in Accounting or Finance who have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and are currently undergoing or have completed their ICAN certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Record and maintain financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
  • Assist in tax computations, filings, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Support cost analysis and financial forecasting to enhance decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must have completed the 1year compulsory National Youth Service Corps, NYSC with 1-2 years working experience.
  • ICAN certification in progress or completed.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

2.) State Manager

Job Title: State Manager

Location: Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The role of the State Manager would be to implement the sales strategy within the state environment to ensure that the state acquisition and Repayment targets are achieved.
  • S/he will manage and lead the territory team towards Sales, Inventory Management and Repayment are made within the state.
  • The SM will ensure people management and capability development of the team, ensure end-to-end on the sales cycle is achieved till installation and use of Apps.
  • The SM is responsible for driving the timely delivery of business targets whilst ensuring that team members understand their specific and unique role to bottom line results.
  • The SM will drive Lumos Nigeria’s growth aspirations that offers clean, affordable solar power to a market of potential customers in Nigeria who live within and off the electricity grid areas.

Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
Increase sale revenue:

  • Coordinate state sales activities and ensure synergy with other activities within and outside the department and contribute to developing and executing the state business plan.
  • Implementing sales goals and communicating them to Territory managers and LCP.
  • Preparing sales reports and submitting them to VP Community business.
  • Follow-up the sales figures against the set sales target on daily and monthly bases; provide recommendations for necessary actions.
  • Conduct state sales promotion activities within the assigned budget.
  • Review sales operations in state ensuring operational objectives are accomplished, identifying trends, providing input into sales forecasting and ensuring optimum service levels are achieved and maintained.
  • Attend sales team meetings on a periodic basis to communicate product strategies, upcoming objectives and exchange ideas on how to support Partners achieve their targets and promote products.
  • Ensure prompt payment from customers and take necessary actions to minimize bad debts.
  • Formulate policies that will drive adoption of product.
  • Drive premium subscription amongst customers joining
  • Identify and formulate state sales strategies to help drive distribution across communities.
  • Ensure expansions to align to dimensioned number of active community partnership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related Social Sciences
  • Fluent in English
  • Master’s in business administration would be an additional qualification
  • 8 to 10 years of varied experience in Sales & Marketing with at least 4 years at middle management level in supervising/managing others.
  • Relevant experience in Telecom or FMCG industry is desirable.
  • Experience working in a multi-level marketing is an added advantage.
  • Proven work experience in the power/energy industry
  • Proven track record in sales/ distributor account management
  • Customer management experience.
