1.) Home Broadband Manager, South East
Location: Enugu, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- Manage and supervise team of 3rd party Market Developers (MDs) and Direct Sales Agencies’ (DSA) activities.
- Deliver sales target.
- Increase Average Revenue per User (ARPU) and customer base via conversion and churn of existing broadband users to Airtel broadband.
- Prospect and acquisition of high quality broadband customers.
- Ensure channel development and process compliance in order to enhance our competitive differentiation through effective relationship management and customer retention activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with 3rd party MDs or/and DSAs to create awareness, education, trial, conversion and regular usage of Airtel Broadband products and services in homes, offices and HORECA outlets.
- Identify opportunities for quality acquisition & execute leveraging all customer-facing staff and channels within region.
- Manage & develop a motivated and result-oriented team of market developers.
- Identify, register and develop profitable DSAs who will have feet on street to penetrate residential estates, outlets, offices and higher institutions with Airtel broadband products.
- Create symbiotic relationships in events sponsorship with HNI presence to drive sales and revenue growth
- Develop forecasts and market projections.
- Database management
- Scorecard update, gap analysis and timely reporting of all initiatives, potential prospects, queries, challenges, call plans and new sales.
- Industry Awareness / Competition Intelligence
- Cross Functional Liaison and Support
- Forecasting, Allocation of sales target and Reporting

Education & Experience
- A First Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or Business related discipline.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Selling skills, organizational skills, and self-directed time management skills
- Ability to plan daily/periodic operations and turn strategy to execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint presentations.
- 5+ years of varied experience in Sales & Marketing with at least 1 year in middle management level.
- Relevant experience in Telecom industry is desirable
- Solid track record of sales performance, new business development, quality customer acquisition and key account management with a passion for Airtel Nigeria products/services

2.) Contract Drafting Executive
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Purpose of the Job
- To review and effectively implement the company’s entry into commercial contracts by reviewing, drafting, and advising on contracts related points of law, managing diverse tasks involving legal matters to support the department.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all corporate commercial transactions agreements are drafted and processed within the Quality, Standard and Time agreed with the respective business units of the Company:
- Familiarize self with provisions of the Company’s Delegation of Authority (DOA) and relevant policies on Contract execution and approval/documentation
- Check and ensures that instructions to prepare contracts are well documented by User Groups and approved in line with the provisions of Company DOA.
- Ensure that the set timelines and standards are adhered to.
- Source proper form of documentation for each type of transaction.
- Ensure that drafted document covers all issues and adequately protects the Company’s interests.
Supporting the Department in respect of Company’s corporate & commercial matters including Intellectual Property matters:
- Obtain proper instructions for registration of intellectual property from the relevant User Group
- Immediately take steps to register all trademarks requiring registration
- Follow up with the Regulatory bodies to ensure that all queries raised in the registration process are addressed and cleared.
- Flag any breach of the Company’s Intellectual Property rights and take steps to reprimand perpetrators in accordance with the legal provisions.
Liaise with external counsel:
- Ensure that proper instructions are obtained from the internal User Group that requires the external legal services
- Spell out the company’s objective for each brief to the external advisors and agree delivery timelines and costs which must be within budget
- Monitor delivery and ensure that expected standards are met
- Review the advice provided by external counsel to ensure that solutions are provided or collaborate with external advisor until a solution is proffered
- Escalate matters to manager on a regular basis as required
Company Secretariat:
- Assist in Ensuring adequate preparation for Board and Board Committee Meetings and Circulation of Board and Board Committee Papers in accordance with agreed targets.
- Maintain proper and up-to-date corporate records, registers, and other documentation of the Business, Directors, and Shareholders.
- Attend to queries from Directors and Shareholders, and requests for corporate documentation/information from other departments and the Group.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB);
- Master of Law (LLM) degree is an added advantage
- 3-5 years’ experience in handling contractual /commercial-related legal matters.
- Up-to-date knowledge of commercial law, including, but not limited to: Legal drafting, general contract law, corporate and commercial law, telecommunications industry structure and business models and employment law and practice.

3.) Product & Pricing Analysis Manager
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid)

Purpose of the Job
- To ensure that existing and new products are competitively priced in line with the financial target of the company and competition as a guide.
- Provide management with information relevant to aid decision making and steer the company towards profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Product Profitability Analysis:
- Evaluate business case for new projects.
- Evaluate and advise management on the impact and benefit of all Intervention and initiatives.
- Review, analyze and validate accuracy and profitability of new tariff plans.
- Review and analysis pricing of new products/promos to ensure profitability and approval in line with DOA.
- Carry out Post-Launch analysis of new products and promos.
- Monitor pricing to ensure that the objectives are achieved (acquisitions/usage/revenue).

4.) MBPN Operations Engineer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid)
Job type: Full-time

Job Purpose
- This function is expected to act as the representative for technical and functional requirements in the area in the area of MPBN, MPLS, Enterprise MPLS, IPRAN and IP Core together referred as IP Services solutions to support both Mobile and Enterprise services.
- The role will define the optimal topology of the IP Services to meet a premium service level agreements and industry architecture for IP Network;
- This role provides Level-1 support to the function with hands-on knowledge and experience on the nodes and ensures FTR configurations.
Key Accountabilities
MPBN Operations to ensure Uninterrupted voice and data service deliver:
- Perform day to day operations & management, fix alarms and resolve incidents, prepare daily health check status and report to TL.
- Keep & Maintain inventory of IP Addresses and implement Zoning.
- Allocate IP Addresses to Network as per Airtel Zoning policy and maintain its database.
- Ensure cabling in IP network is maintained as per standard structured cabling procedures in switch rooms.
- Perform Change Management, performance & optimization through O&M and Performance Management processes.
- Ensure all Faults, Trouble Tickets & Incidents are recorded and addressed within SLAs. Documentation of all such events are prepared with RFO, RCA and RCF. Weekly and monthly report of such incidents are prepared to do analytic study on them by TL and reduce incidents.
- Analyze traffic reports and optimize traffic.
- Implement all BISP related tasks and perform duties within BISP framework.
- Perform NOC integration for alarm reporting & escalation.
- Execute patches and support update/upgrade process.
- Perform ATP, UAT on services and nodes.
- Support TSG / Enterprise team in resolving customer complaints.
- Provide inputs to TL on spares inventory and Life Cycle management on nodes.
Update Documentation:
- Update Solution document, HLD, DLD, LLD along with Network Diagram.
- Keep document management updated.
Capacity optimization, availability & performance management:
- Perform adequate day to day capacity optimization, of all nodes, interfaces on IP Services related Nodes - in accordance with network growth and projections.
- Continuously being the loop of the network traffic, licenses, trends and various parameters to ensure the Network elements are operating as expected. Where required, take corrective action with input from TL and Group Planning team.
Support in Expansion & Evolution of Core Network:
- Understand the business requirements and impact on the IP backbone and data network infrastructure.
- Support expansion of nodes well in advance.
- Support evolution of IP Services to best industry practices.
Employee Engagement:
- Maintain high Team Harmony and Engagement at all times with both internal and external teams and stakeholders.
Vendor / Partner Engagement:
- Ensure that the Vendor Customer Support and supplier vendors are engaged at all times to deliver high quality output expected first time right.
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
Must have:
- Bachelor's / Masters of Telecommunication / Electronic Engineering Degree / Computer Science / IT
- Detailed working of IP/MPLS
- Juniper / Cisco / Huawei NE certified engineer is a must
- Analytical and Presentation skills
- Detailed understanding of call flows of Telecom w.r.t. IP routing
- A basic understanding of 3GPP /ITU-T and ETSI standards is required.
Relevant Experience
Must have:
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on working experience in large Mobile Network Operator with the IP Nodes.
- Multivendor experience - Including experience with Transmission, Core & Data networks.
- Good understanding of the commercial deployment of IP/MPLS which could includes hands-on operations, test and/or deployment. Understanding of the evolution of 2G/3G/4G networks moving convergence with IP
- Detailed understanding of IP technology
- Tracing and analysis acumen and experience on end to end E2E service flow.
- Experience of deployment of key network systems through the delivery life cycle from initial design to full operational handover
- Experience in measuring and analyzing network KPI ‘key performance indicators’
