CCDRN partners with communities, philanthropists, government and donors to provide sustainable community development services in the areas of conflict resolution, peace building, economic empowerment, agriculture, health, education as well as governance. With funding from humanitarian donors for programs to engage in several interventions including but not limited to food assistance, livelihoods, cash transfers and capacity building of humanitarian response actors.

1.) Director of Operations (DO)
Location: Kaduna North, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Objectives of this Role
- Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
- Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
- Work with project managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
- Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs operational-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs
- Uphold the organization's policies and standards, and ensure that compliance regulations are being followed
- Work closely with Operation Manager, Human Resources Manager, Procurement Manager and Programs Lead to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or related field
- Ten or more years in a senior leadership role in a relevant field
- Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, development community, and employee management
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
- Ability to streamline or implement new structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in developing budgets and business plans
- Proven ability to develop innovative solutions that lead to increased productivity
- Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed up by previous professional success
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (ex: SAP, ERP, CRM)
- Experience in implementing donor development activities related to food security, health, nutrition, education, protection, agriculture, and emergency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

2.) Results and Technical Director (RTD)
Location: Kaduna North, Kaduna (with frequent travels to the Northeast)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Role
- To strengthen the project implementations at the National and state levels. This position will provide leadership support to the program, monitoring, and evaluation units under the supervision of the Executive Director, to effectively contribute to the effective delivery of all projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- The Results and Technical Director will provide guidance, overall project management, and leadership, ensuring coordination of the cost-effective delivery of high-quality programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and ensure CCDRN strategies and activities are evidence-based and in line with state-of-the-art, globally-recognized best practices; as well as aligned with the organization’s vision and donor’s guidelines
- Provide technical leadership to the project team to ensure M&E requirements are met on a timely basis and guide data collection, management of the data, and display of the results.
- Work closely with senior staff, providing leadership and mentorship support across all offices.
- Coordinate quarterly in-house capacity-building retreats for the organization’s staff
- Support the development of an organizational culture that reflects CCDRN’s approach to programming; ensure quality programming, and promote at all times CCDRN’s vision.

- Coordinate the developments ofthe quarterly plans for ongoing technical support to all sectors across all programs.
- Provide one-on-one support to the Head of the program, MEAL Manager, and Capacity Building Advisor.
- Participate in developing the country's strategy, facilitating its implementation, and monitoring progress through bi-annual reviews.
- Help establish, maintain, and improve active and regular working relationships with host government authorities, donors, partner agencies, major institution donors, and local and international NGOs.
- Work closely with managers in the Regional Office and ensure that communication channels between the head office and the regional office are smooth, open, and effectiveand that reporting deadline are met as required.
- Develop decision-support tools and performance feedback mechanisms for project managers, partners, and beneficiaries.
- Oversee and motivate staff for sound, effective, evidence and results-based programming.
- , Provide technical leadership in the design, development, planning, implementation, and capacity building of specific technical components of programs.
- Lead in research and proposal design process and ensure that all programs progress is in accordance with grants/contractsagreements and are completed within time and on budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director that isconsistent with the overall focus of the assignment.
- Ensures the quality of implemented technical activities and systems at all levels.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Community Development, Peacebuilding, or other relevant field
- Experienced trainer with significant expertise in capacity development
- Minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience in senior-level program management or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Experience in implementing donor development activities related to food security, health, nutrition, education, protection, agriculture, and emergency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Required Skills:
- In-depth program experience in technical, financial, and administrative oversight.
- Strong leadership, supervision, and managerial skills, a high level of independent action, and a focus on innovation and strategic direction in capacity

3.) MEAL Manager
Location: Kaduna North, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Summary
- The MEAL Manager will provide strategic direction and management of the organization's Research, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning ensuring the establishment and successful implementation of high-quality programs across all performance areas.
- This position shall report directly to the Result & Technical Director and shall be based in Kaduna, with frequent visits to project locations across Northern Nigeria.
Job Description
- Led the design, implementation, and strengthening of CCDRN MEAL systems
- Provide management, guidance, and technical oversight for MEAL throughout the project cycle to ensure project start-up, implementation, and close-out align with CCDRN quality principles and standards and MEAL policies, procedures, practices, and best practices.
- Lead CCDRN program evaluation activities across CCDRN targeted communities in-line with donors'/partners' requirements.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and reporting schedules for all programs and projects
- Led the design and implementation of project design activities, including M&E performance plan, development of project theories of change and strategic M&E frameworks (Results Frameworks and Logframe), indicator performance tracking table (IPTT), data flow map, stakeholders’ communication map, and tools for ongoing monitoring, research, and learning activities.
- Developed Monitoring and Evaluation plan and helped determine indicators, targets, assumptions, and risks.
- Coordinated the monitoring and evaluation system, tools development, and support proposal development.
- Led implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans and conducted baseline, mid-line, annual and end-line surveys, assessment, evaluation, and field-based monitoring visits.
- Champion the development of program learning – identify opportunities for learning, research and publications, and implementation of MEAL policy.
- Facilitate the dissemination of promising practices and lessons learned to contribute to the agency's knowledge management plan.
- Promote learning applications to improve program quality and strengthen the organization's influence among external stakeholders.
- Ensure integration of MEAL-related innovations and best practices.
- Provide management, guidance, and technical oversight for developing and implementing high-quality MEAL systems and processes and applying responsible data principles per CCDRNand donor requirements.
- Promoting MEAL policies and good practices, championing the analysis and use of project performance data to inform decision-making and identify lessons learned.
- Facilitate connections between colleagues and peers to generate and share evidence-based learning.
- Provide management, guidance, and technical oversight for project or program evaluation events and research, including the development of terms of reference or study protocols that include evaluation/learning questions, a balance of qualitative and quantitative methods, appropriate consideration of ethical and data protection standards, and the necessary technical rigor.
- Oversee the quality of evaluation data through sound data management.
- Oversee MEAL-related technical assistance and capacity strengthening activities for staff and partner organizations to enhance program quality and impact.
- Supervise and help build the capacity of the program and M&E team to carry out activities;
- Contribute to program efforts to build the technical, systems, and operational capacity of relevant stakeholders on the development and implementation of program data management systems;
- Manage MEAL technical team and resources to ensure that information and resources are up-to-date, available to staff, and widely disseminated; and
- Provided regular support to partners’ monitoring and evaluation and program staff teams on varying technical skills through orientations, training, and coaching to ensure high-performing monitoring and evaluation teams.
- Trained field staff in monitoring and evaluation processes and provided mentorship and coaching to improve the efficiency of the monitoring and evaluation unit.
- Prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of the project and ensured timely submission of reports for donors, government agencies, and partners.
- Disseminated evaluation findings and project results to donors and other stakeholders

Education
- Master’s in Statistics, Demography, Social Sciences, or any other relevant discipline.
Experience:
- At least seven (7) years of overall experience in monitoring and evaluation, program management, designing and conducting program evaluation (Baseline, mid-term, final, case studies, etc.) using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Experience in MS Access, GIS applications, and Tableau is desirable
- Experience with mobile platforms, mobile data collection, and/or GIS satellite imagery is highly desirable
- Knowledge and familiarity with PMI program monitoring and evaluation, performance monitoring, planning, and reporting.
- Experience in data management and analysis.
- Previous experience working in humanitarian, peacebuilding, and development contexts will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience preparing evaluationreports;annual result statement reports would be considered an asset.
- Strong analytic and quantitative database management skills.
