1.) Innovation Marketing Manager

Job Description Summary
What you will do for us:

  • Lead innovation development (e.g. product, package, equipment) within his/her respective category (primarily consisting of globally led brands) to ensure a robust 1 to 3-year innovation pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with global category team to bring global innovation to life within the Attractive-Local-Operating-Unit(AOU) as well as share relevant AOU market information in support of global innovation development.
  • Develop holistic business cases and development of product, package or equipment-based innovations working in collaboration with various technical, commercial and brand functions.
  • Lead, in collaboration with technical functions, discovery of new technologies, new partners and new applications of existing technologies to package-based solutions.
  • Monitor external and/or internal insights and consumer studies (global and/or Africa) by reviewing related publications, reports and research in order to raise system awareness of important trends and their potential implications.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5 years in brand/category management, brand innovation, portfolio management, or innovation/technical disciplines.
  • End-to-end experience developing and launching innovation
  • Ability to translate consumer inputs into relevant innovation aligned with brand guardrails/strategic guidance
  • Ability to develop robust business cases including potential market opportunity and resource/investment requirements to deliver
  • Strong collaboration skills including ability to build partnerships, establish trust & credibility and influence across all levels of leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to tailor communications to audience and providing clear
  • Consumer-driven approach to innovation utilizing multiple sources of information and translating those inputs into specific innovation(s) that meet marketplace needs while delivering brand/business objectives.

2.) Meals Senior Brand Manager

Position Overview

  • Implements a marketing / sales strategy for one or more of the organization’s more complex or strategically significant products / services to meet established sales or market share targets; conducts market research; monitors and analyzes product performance, market trends, consumer behavior etc.; prepares sales forecast; oversees product development and design.
  • Individual contributor who guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and procedures; works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.
  • Ability to manage a AOU (Africa Operating Unit) brand – inclusive of key strategies and innovative plans and initiatives – while motivating / leading, coordinating and working with key internal and external cross-functional partners to deliver on long- (3+ years), mid- and short-term objectives and business plan metrics.

Function Related Activities / Key Responsibilities

  • Develop short (1 year) and mid-term (2-3 years) business/brand plans identifying business objectives, strategies, key initiatives and performance measurements by using insights collected from situation assessment, marketplace information, etc. in order to support AOU category and brand growth targets.
  • Assess attractive local (AOU) consumer opportunities that are currently untapped by the Company by leveraging consumer research in order to identify new volume and profit growth areas (e.g., new beverage sub-categories, new packaging opportunities, new merchandise categories, new channels of distribution to sell licensed merchandise).
  • Provide direction, leadership and coaching to members of project teams.
  • Manage brand Net Revenue, Gross Profit, Direct Marketing Expense to deliver AOU brand growth and financial targets.
  • Develop programs and secure required budget in order to execute brand plan.  Where applicable, ensure appropriate implementation of global/regional direction into local execution.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.

Related Work Experience:

  • 5 - 7 years of brand management / marketing experience.
  • Innovation experience a plus (demonstrated ability to lead a concept from idea to shelf).

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

  • Deliver Total Rewards and Benefits Governance for all OU countries in scope. Ensures compliance with legal requirements and global guidelines.  Facilitates all audit preparations; quality and systems assurance and compliance pieces and leads efforts of policy and process documentations for EMEA Total Rewards Operations.
  • Lead the project management of the Global benefits initiatives within the Company including annual benefit governance review for countries with OU. The role implements and delivers the solution for global Benefits priorities as defined by Benefits CoE/ People Services Leadership.
  • Lead vendor management governance of total rewards and benefits operations.
  • Facilitates and supports issue resolution for EMEA Total Rewards Service Delivery with the OU. Stakeholder management for changes on implementation, delivery and issues encountered in the region.
  • Consultant for Total Rewards EMEA implementation including market trends, customer needs, technology capabilities, operational efficiencies, etc.
  • Continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks of overall EMEA Total Rewards Operations.
  • Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap and backlogs.
  • Drives the discovery and implementation of product enhancements and process improvement, as well as design changes provided by the Total Rewards and Benefits CoE.
  • Identify system requirements and/or enhancements needed to support the successful design, development and implementation of HR plans, programs, processes, and tools in collaboration with Information Systems and HR partners.
  • Process Champion, leads process improvement and provide data analytics and insights to assess performance of the team
  • Plans and implement capability building for EMEA Total Rewards team and overall platform HR team.
  • Works very closely with the Total Rewards Manager for the region and other key stakeholders within network organization.

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience managing total rewards and benefits plans and programs in multiple countries.
  • Experience working with leaders, and challenging customers needed.

Work Focus:

  • Ability to analyze complex issues, spot compliance risk and issues in an agile environment and bring together appropriate stakeholders to lead towards long term solutions for the business.

Communication Focus:

  • Collaborates directly with Stakeholders (Sr Leadership of OUs and HR), customers (active/retired employees), regional partners, other product owners, and vendors to create operational strategies, process optimization, risk, compliance and prioritization.
  • Works to ensure satisfactory delivery and consulting with all partners.
