The University of East Anglia (UEA) invites international postgraduate students to apply for the distinguished Vice Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship.

   

This merit-based award, worth £7,000 in tuition fee reductions, seeks to acknowledge exceptional students who have accepted an offer to study at UEA and demonstrate the potential for significant contributions in their field of study and within the UEA community.

Eligibility Criteria

This scholarship is designed for international students who are self-funding their studies and hold either a conditional or unconditional offer for a postgraduate program at UEA. Eligible applicants must intend to start their course in September 2025, January 2026, or February 2026. Candidates are assessed on their ability to articulate how studying at UEA will foster their skills and enable them to contribute meaningfully both academically and within the university community.

Application Process

To apply for the Global Excellence Scheme, applicants must submit a video response addressing the question:

“How will your experience at UEA help you to develop your knowledge and skills for the future?”
