🇮🇹 UNICORE 7.0 Scholarship: Fully Funded Opportunities in Italy

The University Corridors for Refugees (UNICORE) 7.0 project is back, offering a life-changing opportunity for refugee students to pursue higher education in Italy.

   

This initiative, led by Italian universities in collaboration with UNHCR, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and key partners like Caritas Italiana, Diaconia Valdese, and Centro Astalli, provides a fully funded scholarship to eligible students.

The scholarship is open to refugees currently residing in:

  • Ethiopia
  • India
  • Kenya
  • Malawi
  • Mozambique
  • Namibia
  • Niger
  • Nigeria
  • South Africa
  • Tanzania
  • Uganda
  • Zambia
  • Zimbabwe

Benefits of the UNICORE 7.0 Scholarship

Students selected for this program will begin their degree courses in September 2025 at one of the 37 participating Italian universities. The scholarship covers:

1. Full Tuition Fee Exemption

Awardees will have their university tuition fees fully waived at participating Italian institutions.

2. Financial Assistance

The scholarship provides financial support for visa-related expenses and airfare to Italy.

3. Study Grant

Students will receive a study grant to help cover their living costs while studying in Italy.

4. Academic and Personal Support

UNICORE partners will offer mentorship and guidance to help students successfully integrate into their new academic environment.

This program is designed to ensure that refugee students not only gain access to quality education but also receive the necessary financial and institutional support to thrive in Italy.
