What You’ll Get

Eligible students will automatically receive a £2,000 tuition fee discount for one year of full-time postgraduate taught study. This applies only to programs starting in September 2025.

This isn’t a loan or a grant you have to repay — it’s a direct reduction in your tuition fees.

Who Can Apply?

There’s no separate application required. You’ll be considered automatically if you:

  • Are domiciled in one of these countries:
    Canada, China, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Malaysia, Qatar, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, USA, or Vietnam.
  • Are classified as an international fee-paying student.
  • Are self-funded (not receiving external sponsorships unless part of a formal progression agreement).
  • Have secured a place in a full-time postgraduate taught program at the University of Kent (UK-based).
  • Pay your tuition fee deposit by 31st July 2025.
  • Are currently residing in the UK for study but normally live in one of the eligible countries.

Who Isn’t Eligible?

You won’t qualify for the scholarship if:

  • You apply for a distance learning course.
  • You’re enrolling in a Pre-Master’s, PCert, or PDip program.
  • You’re on an integrated Pre-Masters pathway.
  • You miss the tuition fee deposit deadline (unless exempt, such as some US federal loan recipients or fully sponsored students).

Which Courses Are Covered?

The scholarship covers all UK-based, full-time postgraduate taught Master’s programs starting in September 2025 at the University of Kent.

How to Secure Your Spot

There’s no complicated process. Just accept your offer and pay your tuition deposit by July 31, 2025, to automatically qualify. Make sure your program and country of residence meet the eligibility criteria.
