Who Can Apply? – Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this fully funded scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: Must be a non-Chinese citizen from a Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) country (Check Eligible Countries).
• Health: Applicants should be in good physical and mental health.
• Educational Requirements:
  • Master’s Applicants: Must have a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
  • PhD Applicants: Must have a Master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Non-native English speakers must provide proof of English proficiency with IELTS (6.0+), TOEFL (80+), or an equivalent qualification.
  • Alternatively, a university-issued certificate confirming that previous studies were conducted in English or proof of study in an English-speaking country for over one year.
• Academic Performance: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 80/100.
• No Other Scholarships: Candidates must not hold any other scholarships while applying.
