Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Demand Planner who will lead the demand forecasting process to ensure that GBfoods Ghana has the right product in the right place at the right time to deliver the orders of Customers fufilling the working caprital requirement of the Company.

The main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the rolling forecast process by undertaking below activities::
- Use statistical models to have a first view of the sales forecast for the next months.
- Work together with Marketing and Trade Marketing Depts to know the advertising and promotion plans, and to evaluate its impact in the forecasted demand.
- Work together with Sales Dept to know the sales plan, and to evaluate its gaps and opportunities.
- Lead the Consensus Meeting, with attendance of the General Manager, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Trade Marketing.
- Give feedback about the quality of the forecast.
- Maintain and feed the forecasting tools: forecasting models, SAP APO…
- Analyze together with the Supply Planning area the rolling forecast and the production plan, to find gaps and opportunities.
- Inform Supply Planning weekly on any changes on the demand impacting forecast, and Customer Service and Sales on any change on production impacting the supply.
- Communicate daily to Sales and Customer Service departments on risks on shortages, and on any out-of-stock, calculating its impact in sales and informing about solution horizons.
- Work together with Supply Planning on mitigation plans for any supply issue, i.e., out of stocks or excess of stocks.

Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Economics or Statistics.
- Minimum of four (4) years experience in a similar position
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in negotiation
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrable ability to lead people.
- A team player who is client and consumer oriented
- Advanced Excel user and knowledge in SAP R3, SAP APO and BO
- Aligned to GBfoods values and behaviours
