Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation (WEWE) is a women-led legally registered, local not-for-profit, faith-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that was founded in 2004 by Josephine Ogazi and Joseph Egwuonwu. WEWE started out as a Community Based Organisation (CBO) with the aim of providing scholarships and economic empowerment to orphans and widows in Okigwe, Imo State and has since expanded its aims and objectives.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Gender Based Violence (GBV) Workshop Facilitator (Short Term Consultant)
Job Title: Gender Based Violence (GBV) Workshop Facilitator (Short Term Consultant)
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Part-time
Duration: Three (3) months
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- S/he will organize and facilitate a GBV stakeholder Civil Society Organization (CSO) forum/roundtable of national-level actors in GBV in Abuja to discuss the learnings from the community level the learning affects the national policies.
- S/he will encourage that these experiences are included in national advocacy on GBV prevention guidelines.
- S/he will develop an agenda with at least five action steps to prevent GBV.
- S/he will encourage these experiences to be included in national advocacy efforts on GBV at the CSO forum in Abuja.
- S/he will organize and facilitate a national learning event with national-level actors in Abuja on GBV prevention.
Qualifications and Experience
- First Degree in a relevant field, plus a minimum of 2 years institutional experience and expertise in GBV
- First Degree in Social Science, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Human Rights or related Degree desired
- At least 3 years’ experience in implementing Gender-Based Violence programs, humanitarian or development settings
- Previous experience organizing a GBV related workshop with picture evidence.
- Evidence of strong report writing skills
- Evidence of strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in developing survey google forms using Gmail.
- Experience developing pre and post testing for workshop
- Evidence of writing workshop reports.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly (only subject to evidence of consultancy history i.e. evidence of signed bank statements showing previous payments).

2.) Consultant, Monitoring and Evaluation
Job Title: Consultant, Monitoring and Evaluation
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Part-time
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- S/he will document and measure progress from actions taken by the National -level actors on GBV prevention from the meetings.
- S/he will record and document discussions on the lessons learned over the course of the project and share the experiences of the different communities in Plateau State over the project’s lifespan at the national learning events in Abuja.
- S/he will be responsible for data collection, input, and analysis
- S/he will be responsible for reports and ensures results for project activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- First Degree in a relevant field i.e., Statistics, Mathematics or any relevant field, plus a minimum of 2 years of institutional experience and expertise in M&E.
- Experience using M&E software such as Excel, Kobo Connect, DHIS2, and other open-source platforms.
- Strong Report Writing skills – Consultant must provide evidence of previous report written and references that can attest to your report writing skills
- Experience in M&E for an International donor project/sub-project is highly desirable.
- Experience in data analysis and report writing.
- Excellent English writing skills.
Remuneration Package
- You will be paid a fixed fee of between N150,000 - N200,000 monthly, only subject to evidence of consultancy history i.e. evidence of signed bank statements showing previous payments.

3.) Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

About the Project
- WEWE has been authorized to implement a USAID-funded 10-month nutrition project to improve the nutritional status of 5,000 children under five in 30 Primary Health Centers in FCT.
- Through this project, we want to engage additional talented intelligent Nutrition Dietetics, Human Nutrition, Food Science and Nutrition, Mathematics and Statistics graduates to provide an opportunity to gain experience working on a USAID-funded project and also experience working in the NGO sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- S/he will assist to implement and oversee M&E activities, under the guidance of the project manager
- S/he will assist to provide technical direction for documentation of activities on IHP ePlatform and using IHP templates.
- S/he will assist in data collection, input, and analysis
- S/he will assist in reports and ensures results for project activities.
Requirements
Are you a talented/award-winning Nutrition Dietetics, Human Nutrition, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science and Nutrition, Mathematics, and Statistics graduate working in a private local or international firm? with the following:

4.) Nutrition and Dietetics Officer
Job Title: Nutrition and Dietetics Officer
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- S/he will assist in the overall nutrition technical leadership and technical guidance to master trainers, supervisors, and trainers/mentors for successful implementation at sites.
- S/he will assist in the Master TOT at the national level and co-leads the grantee’s Training of Trainers’ execution at the State level.
- S/he will assist to ensures the implementation of outpatient treatment interventions for children identified as acutely malnourished using an integrated package of child health services, including a food-based approach and CMAM which focuses on building the capacity of providers to counsel and teaching caregivers to use the locally available foods to rehabilitate moderately malnourished children (and even severe acute malnutrition with no underlying complications) in the outpatient setting, and to use RUTF where available for SAM cases. This also includes ensuring that all children receive routine immunization, treatment of uncomplicated childhood illnesses, and referral to hospitals for complicated cases.
- S/he will assist to ensure that all children graduating/recovering from the SAM to Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) are counseled in food-based approaches to prevent relapse and further the rehabilitation to normal nutritional status.
- S/he will assist to provide key expertise on nutrition mentoring, training, and quality assurance to all trainers/mentors.
- S/he will assist in meeting all projects agreement obligations, including documentation and quality report
- S/he will assist in the overall oversight of technical aspects of the program.
- S/he will assist to develop and coordinating training schedules and ensure the availability of qualified trainers.
- S/he will assist in producing technical deliverables and achieving technical project results as specified by the grant agreement
- S/he will assist to oversee technical planning and implementation of the approved work plan.
- S/he will assist to provide on the job mentoring and supportive supervision of trainers and supervisors.
- S/he will assist in supervising the onsite capacity building of health workers.
- S/he will assist to provide technical direction for data collection and tracking all enrolled nutrition cases using the nutrition tracker. This includes tracking weight for height, mid-upper arm circumference, and minimum acceptable diet including dietary diversity and minimum meal frequency.
- S/he will assist in writing project reports and ensures results for project activities are achieved.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma or its equivalent in Nutrition and Dietetics or any other relevant degree.
- A Second Class Upper (2.1) or first class or Upper credit in Nutrition and Dietetics with a Bachelor’s Degree or High National Diploma with experience with working in the area of infant and young children feeding (IYCF), or on feeding for moderate to severely malnourished children under five (5) years
- 1 - 2 years of institutional work experience in working with malnourished children.
- Must have demonstrable competency in facilitating nutrition screening and counseling, child health mentoring in the clinical setting, and experience leading participatory training sessions.
- Experience in competency-based skill-building training for health workers
- Very strong report-writing skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work long hours when needed.
