We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Account Assistant
2.) Senior Accountant - Finance
3.) Assistant Manager - Finance

Job Title: Account Assistant

Location: Sanya ( Mile 2), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Profile
As an Assistant Accountant, a typical day might include the following:

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. This will help management to make the right decisions for the business to grow.
• Preparing and verifying payment instructions
• Checking vendor invoices against goods delivery notes and approval for rendered services
• Reconciling bank balances to ensure effective control over the financial information
• Preparing and checking of sales orders
• Checking and verifying correct movement of stock in the ERP
• Review and ensure Withholding Tax (WHT) are deducted correctly from Vendor Invoices and subsequently remitted promptly to the respective tax authority (FIRS and LIRS) accordingly.
• Assist with preparing monthly/quarterly financial analysis packets for management
• Assist with financial modeling and support the business by reviewing cost and sales price calculations
• Provide general accounting support
• Help with accounts receivable management
• Provide support for annual budgeting process
• Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Carry out all other duties as delegated by Senior Officer.

Requirements
You’d be a good fit if you have:

• A BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Accounting software.
• ICAN and ACCA certifications is an added advantage.
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
• Excellent math skills with an attention to detail.
• High integrity and can keep confidential information.
• Time-management.

Job Title: Senior Accountant - Finance

Job Description

• We are seeking to engage a competent Accountant, who will play a role in ensuring the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of financial reporting processes.
• This includes maintaining general ledgers, preparation of financial reports, budget monitoring, and assisting with audit activities and preparation of monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing financial analyses and reports
• Conduct in-depth analysis of the company’s financial performance using relevant KPIs
• Review and reconcile general ledger entries on the accounting system.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts with affiliates.
• Support Financial Controller with coordinating month-end/year-end close process.
• Prepare and coordinate tasks for audit activities, including statutory audit and tax audit
• Supervise and coach junior accountants
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls accountant.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and internal guidelines and regulations.
• Efficient management of the vendor payment process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Assist in annual budget preparation and monitoring process.

Requirements
Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines - Accounting or Finance.
• Chartered accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years work experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS requirements and accounting principles.
• Experience with preparing financial statements
• Competency and skills requirements
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft excel
• Ability to work with little or no supervision

• Supervise and coach junior accountants
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls accountant.
• Maintain detailed fixed asset register and prepare monthly fixed asset summary schedule
• Ensure compliance with statutory and internal guidelines and regulations.
• Efficient management of the vendor payment process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Assist in the budget preparation and monitoring process

Requirements
Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines - Accounting or Finance.
