1.) Lecturer – Classics

The Department of Philosophy and Classics, School of Arts (College of Humanities), University of Ghana invites applications for the following positions:

Lecturer – Classics

Qualification:

• A Ph.D. in Classics
• Competence in Ancient Greek language or Latin or both at the postgraduate level.
• Ability to conduct scholarly research at the highest level and attract a funded research programme.
• Show promise in research as demonstrated by publications and conference.
• presentations, as well as strong endorsement by referees.

Lecturer – Classics

Qualification:

• A Ph.D. in Classics
• Competence in any two of the following: Ancient Greek or Roman History, Ancient Greek or Roman Philosophy, and Ancient Greek or Roman Literature.
• Ability to conduct scholarly research at the highest level and attract a funded research programme.
• Show promise in research as demonstrated by publications and conference.
• presentations, as well as strong endorsement by referees.

2.) Lecturer – Moral Philosophy

 

The Department of Philosophy and Classics, School of Arts (College of Humanities), University of Ghana invites applications for the following positions: Lecturer – Moral Philosophy

Qualification:

• A Ph.D. in Philosophy
• Competence in Moral Philosophy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Ability to conduct scholarly research at the highest level and attract a funded research programme
• Show promise in research as demonstrated by conference presentations and/or publications, as well as strong endorsement by referees.
• Ability to teach either Kantian Philosophy or Metaphysics will be an added advantage

Qualification:

• A Ph.D. in Philosophy
• Competence in Philosophy of Gender
• Ability to conduct scholarly research at the highest level and attract a funded research programme
• Show promise in research as demonstrated by conference presentations and/or publications, as well as strong endorsement by referees.
• Ability to teach either Philosophy of Culture or Philosophy of Development will be an added advantage
