Job Vacancies at Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil Nigeria – 3 Positions
The Governing Council of Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil at its 50th Meeting decided to fill the following positions:
1.) Director, Security
2.) Director, University Health Services
3.) Director, Internal Audit
Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil was created as "Kano University of Technology" in 2001. The then governor of Kano State, His Excellency Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso mulled idea of establishing the first state university during his first tenure in office between 1999 and 2003.

1.) Director, Security
Location: Kano
Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University, intelligence Training and twenty (20) years cognate experience plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- He should be a retired Police Officer not below the rank of Deputy Commissioner or its equivalent in the military or other security agencies.
- In addition, he must have evidence of proven ability, leadership qualities and high sense of responsibility.
- A five (5) - year administrative experience in a University or Institutions of higher learning will be an added advantage.
Basic Salary
- Basic salary and benefits remain within the range of the approved emoluments for the post in accordance with the University extent service instruments and consent of the Council.

Location: Kano
Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates must possess an MBBS Degree from a recognized University with evidence of one (1) year housemanship, registration with Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- In addition, the candidate should have Twenty (20) years post registration experience and valid practicing license.
- Having a wide range of experiences in medical practice with at least five (5) years administrative experience in University Health Services Unit or other Institutions of higher learning will be an added advantage.
Basic Salary
- Basic salary and benefits remain within the range of the approved emoluments for the post in accordance with the University extent service instruments and consent of the Council.

3.) Director, Internal Audit
Location: Kano
Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accountancy with Twenty (20) years cognate experience in addition to NYSC discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- He/She must be a qualified professional Accountant registered with either ICAN or ANAN.
- He/She must demonstrate proven integrity, have initiative and capability to lead and coordinate activities of other Resident Internal Auditors and be able to effectively contribute to the planning, organizing and developing the Internal Audit Directorate.
- Working experience in the Audit Directorate of a University or Tertiary Institutions will be an added advantage.

- Basic salary and benefits remain within the range of the approved emoluments for the post in accordance with the University extent service instruments and consent of the Council.
