Based in our Southland store and working towards customer growth activities you will provide individual needs analysis for customers in branch, recommending the most suitable products and explaining the value and benefits of these products. You will also work within the wider community to develop business and community-based relationships that promote the Bupa brand and products and the acquisition of new members.

Taking a customer needs-based approach, you will assist our existing Bupa members in their day to day transactions, ensuring that they understand the full value of their health insurance product, provide solutions to any identified concerns or unmet needs and educate members on all the benefits they can access.

This is a permanent part time position, working 30 hours per week, including some Saturdays on a rotating roster.

You will combine your drive for sales, together with your proactive, customer focused approach, to provide your customers with the best possible solutions and service.

Our modern Berwick care home set in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, in Narre Warren, 45 minutes from Melbourne's CBD and close to the Lysterfield Lake and Wilson Botanical Gardens. It consists of 120 beds, across 2 wings with respite and dementia care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About The Role

 

As a Business Administrator, working closely with our General Manager of the care home, you will be responsible for delivering administration support across all aspects of the care home operations. You will play a pivotal role with rostering, workplace planning, and be the face for the care home.

 

Duties

Management of resident administration including enquiries, admissions and maintaining occupancy targets

Staff rostering including HR administration support

Financial management including petty cash, receipting, and banking

General administration including document control, filing in line with Accreditation Agency Standards, customer service, reception etc

Implementation of organisational initiatives and community events as directed by the General Manager or Corporate Head Office

Ad hoc support as directed by the General Manager

Skills And Experience

Minimum of a Cert III in Business Administration or equivalent experience

Previous experience gained in a similar role

Intermediate to advanced skills across the MS Office Suite

Highly developed organisation and time management skills

The ability to solve problems independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
