Who Can Apply? Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality & Residency

  • Open to non-EU citizens who do not reside in Italy.
  • Candidates with a residence permit for study purposes in Italy but without permanent residency are eligible.
  • Those with temporary protection status who have not obtained a high school diploma in Italy can also apply.

2. Academic Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized institution.
  • Your studies must include at least 60 credits in relevant subjects such as:
    • History, Philosophy, Economics, Law, Political Science, Sociology, or Foreign Languages.
  • A minimum GPA equivalent to 24 out of 30 (around 75%) is required.

3. Language Proficiency

  • English Language: At least a B2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – CEFR).
  • Second Language Requirement:
    • Basic knowledge (minimum A2 level) of one additional foreign language, apart from Italian.
    • Accepted languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, or German.
    • MISS students must achieve a B2 level in their second language before graduation.
    • While the university organizes B2 exams for Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, and Russian, courses beyond A2 in these languages are currently not available.
