Scholarship Details

Dean’s Excellence Scholarship Applications for the scholarship are only considered from those who have already received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join one of the eligible programs and are planning to accept the offer or have already done so.

Your application will only be considered by the scholarship selection panel if you have an active offer throughout your scholarship application procedure (if your offer is withdrawn at any time up until the scholarship decision deadline, your eligibility ends).

Only one application for the scholarship is allowed per recruitment cycle.

Eligibility Requirements

For the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship at the Edinburgh University Business School, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • The scholarships are open to all nationalities and available for all taught Masters.
  • Prospective students should demonstrate high academic achievement – be on course to earn or have earned at least a high 2.1 or 1st class UK undergraduate degree, or its international equivalent from a globally recognised and respected university.
  • Applicants must show the capacity to enhance and enrich all areas of the Masters program, as well as contribute to the academic and cultural diversity of the Masters class.
  • Display exceptional personal and professional abilities demonstrated through work experience and/or extracurricular activities.

Upon receiving an offer (conditional or unconditional) for a place on a Masters programme, submit an application via the University Scholarship Application system within the respective scholarship application rounds.
