Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the DAAD-EPOS Scholarship through the MEG Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of a DAC-listed developing country
• Hold a bachelor’s degree awarded within the last six years
• Have at least two years of relevant professional experience (Note: internships and volunteer work do not qualify)
• Show strong academic performance, ideally in the top third of your class
• Have not lived in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application
• Provide valid proof of English proficiency through one of the following tests:
  • TOEFL iBT: 95
  • IELTS: Band 7
  • Cambridge English: C1
  • PTE Academic: 76

Important: If you already hold a master’s degree, you must clearly explain why a second postgraduate degree is necessary for your academic or professional development.
