Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the DAAD-EPOS Scholarship through the MEG Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of a DAC-listed developing country
- Hold a bachelor’s degree awarded within the last six years
- Have at least two years of relevant professional experience (Note: internships and volunteer work do not qualify)
- Show strong academic performance, ideally in the top third of your class
- Have not lived in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application
- Provide valid proof of English proficiency through one of the following tests:
- TOEFL iBT: 95
- IELTS: Band 7
- Cambridge English: C1
- PTE Academic: 76
Important: If you already hold a master’s degree, you must clearly explain why a second postgraduate degree is necessary for your academic or professional development.
