✅ Be a citizen of one of the ASEAN member countries:
Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam.

✅ Be enrolled full-time at a recognized university in an ASEAN country.

✅ Continue paying tuition to their home institution throughout the exchange period.

Who Is NOT Eligible?

❌ If you hold or have applied for Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.
❌ If you are already studying in Canada.
❌ If you have previously received this scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

The SEED scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, covering all major expenses:

Funding Amount: $10,200 for a four-month study or research program.
Covers:

  • Visa application fees
  • Round-trip airfare
  • Health insurance
  • Accommodation
  • Local transportation
  • Study materials

No tuition fees if you are an undergraduate student applying under a valid exchange agreement between your home university and a Canadian institution.

How to Apply?

Unlike most scholarships, students cannot apply directly for the SEED program. Instead:
