1.) Industrial Training Fund (ITF) - NECA / Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Centre For Excellence Art of Culinary Skills and ICT Training Programme 2021

 

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employer's Consultative Association (NECA) in collaboration with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Centre For Excellence, Jos, Plateau State invite applications from qualified young Nigerians to undertake 3 - 6 months training programme in Art of Culinary Skills and ICT.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Art of Culinary Skills and ICT Training Programme

Location: Plateau

Description
ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Project in collaboration with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Centre For Excellence, Jos, Plateau State will be conducting a Technical Skills Training Programme in the following areas:

  • Art of Culinary Skills - 3 Months
  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT) - 6 Months

Objectives

  • This programme aims at training and equipping youths with employable and entrepreneurial skills in Information and Communication Technology, Art of Culinary Skills.

Extrance Examination
Selected candidates will be contacted to come for a test. Candidates should bring along the following:

  • Two (2) recent passport photograph
  • Originals of Educational certificates
  • Birth certificate.

  • Date: Wednesday, 30th June, 2021
  • Time: 8:00 AM Prompt

2.) Industrial Training Fund (ITF) - NECA / C-STEMP Training Centre Training and NSQ Certification of Construction Artisan Programme 2021

 

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA) in collaboration with C-STEMP Training Centre, Enugu invite applications from qualified young Nigerians and semi-skilled artisans who are interested in upgrading their skills for National Skills Qualification (NSQ) certification to undertake an intensive four months upskilling, assessment and certification programme

Applications are invited for:

Title: Training and NSQ Certification of Construction Artisan Programme

Location: Enugu
Duration: 4 Months

Objectives
The training will:

  • Identify and document the skill gaps and deficiencies in the artisans
  • Improve and upskill participants' competencies in the various trades they are practicing
  • Induct and support beneficiaries to attain the NSQ certification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) method of assessment

The Programme

  • The Programme is non-residential training at C-STEMP Training Centre, Enugu in line with out standard training model blending instruction with practical training, in collaboration with industry. Successful candidates will enjoy free tuition, lunch and stipend.
  • Trainees will undergo a 4-month training and receive instructions to address skill deficiencies to enable them attain NSQ certification in any of the listed trade areas: Masonry / Tiling, Plumbing installation and maintenance, Electrical installation and maintenance.
  • The assessment of participants by Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will commence after induction and successful candidates will earn their National Skills Qualifications at the end of the Programme.

Requirements
Eligible candidates who must be between 18 and 35 years of age are required to possess any of the following qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience practicing any of the chosen trade.
  • Trainee must reside within Enugu State.
  • Have the requisite documentations for identification in the form of a valid National Identity Card or alternative
  • Demonstrate interest & commitment to the skills certification acquisition program
  • Basic literacy, good aptitude and communication skills will be an added advantage
  • Female artisans are encouraged to apply.

3.) Industrial Training Fund (ITF) - NECA / HIE Stitches Ventures Tailoring and Garmet Making Training Programme 2021

 

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA) in collaboration with HIE Stitches invite applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake a six months training on Tailoring and Garment Making.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Tailoring and Garmet Making Training Programme

Location: Plateau
Duration: 6 Months

Objectives
The training aims to:

  • Develop skilled manpower capable of meeting the demand in services for garment making.
  • Create job opportunities for the unemployed by providing them with training in the field of apparel making and allied areas.
  • Upgrade tailoring skills to improve quality, productivity and efficiency level in the fashion industry.
  • Create a pool of skilled personnel for employment in garment manufacturing

The Programme

  • The Programme is non-residential and trainees will be responsible for their accommodation throughout the duration of the programme. Successful candidates will enjoy tuition fee, free study, lunch and stipend

Requirements
Eligible candidates who must be between 18 and 35 years of age are required to possess any of the following qualifications:

  • Senior Secondary School Certification Examination (SSCE)
  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
  • HND or B.Sc qualification
  • In addition, good communication skills and numerical ability will be an added advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to come for a test. Candidates should bring along originals of the following:

4.) Industrial Training Fund (ITF) - NECA / Nigerian Breweries Plc Technical Skills Development Programme (TSDP) 2021

 

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), in collaboration with Nigerian Breweries Plc, invite application from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake an intensive 7 months training programme on Technical Skills Development in either the combined field of Mechanical and Automation Maintenance (Mechatronics) or Brewing & Quality (Brewtechnical).

Applications are invited for:

Title: Technical Skills Development Programme

Location: Nigeria
Duration: 7 Months

Objectives

  • To train and equip youths with employable technical skills
  • To promote a Public – Private Sector Model in Vocational / Technical Skills Training and contribute to capacity development of our country

The Programme

  • Successful candidates will enjoy free tuition and lunch. Programme is a non-residential training at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigerian Breweries Plc, Ibadan.
  • Trainees will not be entitled to Salary during the period of training. Trainees will be required to have hands-on training in any of Nigerian Breweries Plc locations in Lagos, Aba, Kaduna, Ibadan, Enugu, Ota, Ijebu-ode and Awo-Omamma.  This programme does not confer Nigerian Breweries employee status on the trainees.

Educational Qualifications
Candidate must possess the following qualification among others:

  • Credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics  and Chemistry
  • Higher National Diploma or it's equivalent in any of the following Engineering fields: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Welding & fabrication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Physics, Instrument Engineering or Computer Engineering with a minimum of Lower Credit from recognized and accredited institutions.
  • Higher National Diploma or it's equivalent in any of the following Sciences fields: Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science and technology, with a minimum of Lower credit from recognized and accredited institutions.
  • Graduated not earlier than 2018
  • Must have completed NYSC as at time of this advertisement.
