Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a PhD or be in the final stages of completing one (including viva before the fellowship starts).
  • Have no more than 7 years of full-time postdoctoral experience (career breaks excluded).
  • Have lived and worked outside the UK for at least 12 months before applying.
  • Not hold UK citizenship.
  • Be proficient in English (both written and spoken).
  • Have an approved research proposal with a UK-based researcher.
