1.) Advisory Senior Associate – Capital Projects & Infrastructure

 

Job Purpose

The candidate will be responsible for financial modelling/ financial analysis, reporting, data reviews & analysis, project management and business development support for the delivery of infrastructure advisory assignments.

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

• Support the review and analysis of project data and drafting inputs for project reports
• Support the development of financial models for analysing project viability assessments of infrastructure projects
• Review and analyse economic data in relation to projects under study
• Support business development activities including the development of expressions of interest and proposals.

Qualification Required & Experience

Minimum requirement

• First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (Second Class Upper or better)

Preferred skills

• Master’s degree in related fields of Accounting, Finance, Economics will be an advantage
• Professional accounting qualification (ICA, ACCA, CFA, etc.)

Experience required

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience in corporate finance/ financial modelling (financial modelling experience in infrastructure projects will be an added advantage) and consulting/ advisory
• Financial modelling (Knowledge in financial modelling for infrastructure projects will be an advantage)
• Understanding of financing and funding considerations for large projects
• Economic analysis for large projects.

2.) Advisory Senior Associate – People & Organisation

 

The role is to support in executing consulting assignments by developing proposals and other business development documents e.g. EoIs, Capability statements, presentations for sales pitches. The role will lead teams and deliver diverse client engagements per client requirements and in line with the Firm’s standards, approaches and methodologies. The jobholder will also undertake internal risk management and firm wide activities.

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

• Undertake relevant research to support business development and client service delivery
• Manage development of client proposals and business propositions
• Lead the delivery of Client services/projects – this will include client engagements, solution design and execution, monitoring, reporting and project evaluation
• Support with risk management activities of the for the BU from client acceptance to project wrap-up records
• Coach junior team members to achieve the best possible potentials
• Participate in firm-wide activities.

Qualification Required & Experience

Minimum requirement

• First degree in Social Science or Business Management

Preferred skills

• Relevant Master’s degree will be a strong advantage
• Membership of a relevant professional association is required (e.g. Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana etc.)

Experience required

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant consulting or mixed industry/consulting experience.

Knowledge of Human Resource Consulting cutting across the following:

• HR Strategy Development
• Organisational Development,
• Talent Management
• Compensation Design/Management,
• Workforce Planning,
• Change Management

Experience in assisting organisations to improve performance across business functions

Stakeholder engagement

• Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified)
• Degrees/Field of Study required: Bachelor Degree

3.) Advisory Manager – Management Consulting

 

The role is to support the Associate Director in running the Finance and Accounting business unit by developing and maintaining strategic client relationships, undertaking business development activities, managing client engagements, managing and developing team members and undertaking internal risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Develop and maintain strategic client relationships
• Undertake business development activities in accordance with business unit strategy in order to achieve strategic goals
• Undertake relevant research to support business development and client service delivery
• Manage development of client proposals and business propositions
• Manage client portfolio in accordance with agreed service levels (e.g. reporting deadlines, billing, collections, etc.)
• Manage team members in delivering consulting services to help clients to improve upon their performance. These services may include but are not limited to business process optimisations, business transformations, internal control reviews, finance and procurement function reviews
• Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders to facilitate progress on projects as well as business unit operations
• Support the business unit’s adherence to internal risk management procedures
• Support the development of junior team members
• Represent business unit at meetings were necessary.

Qualification Required & Experience

Minimum requirement

• First degree in Accounting or related field (Second Class Upper or better)

Preferred skills

• Full professional accounting qualification (ICA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.)

Experience required

• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant professional experience with at least 3 years team leadership experience within Consulting environment
• Knowledge of the operations of a finance function
• Audit experience is an advantage but not required
• Knowledge of internal controls and experience of assisting with the review and strengthening of internal controls of an organisation
• Development agency experience (desirable but not required)
• Experience in assisting organisations to improve performance across business functions
• Stakeholder /Project/Client portfolio management
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience of an accounting application is desirable but not required.
