Pangea, a groundbreaking new pod hotel in the heart of Whistlerās pedestrian Village, is looking for full-time, part-time and casual hours Housekeepers who can make us sparkle ā both literally and metaphorically.Youāll be at the heart of what we do, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the property. Thanks to your eye for detail, Pangea will earn and maintain an impeccable reputation, and Pangeaās guests will be inspired to leave glowing reviews about their experience staying in Canadaās first pod hotel.As Housekeeper, youāll be someone who takes immense pride in your work, never relenting until the job is done (and done to the highest standard). Youāll be efficient and meticulous, so that our pods are always left spotless, and youāll be fit and motivated, with the ability to bend, lift, stand and move continuously throughout your shift. In essence, youāll be a āninjaā of the pod world ā flexible, stealthy and methodical, so that our pods look like theyāve never been used before.Above all, youāll share in our vision of success for the Pangea project, actively contributing ideas and making improvements that shape our future and realize our ambitions for dynamic growth.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Core to the role of Housekeeper is keeping our sleeping pods, bathrooms and all other public spaces absolutely spotless. Youāll also need to be efficient, adhere to proper bend/lift/OHC standards, and be happy to take on any housekeeping-related duties assigned to you around the property.

Youāll be the night owl who keeps things running smoothly while the world sleeps ā the hero of the quadruple-zero who smiles serenely from dusk till dawn, carrying out tasks with minimal fuss.
Youāre a fast-starting, self-motivated ādoerā. And needless to say, youāre as comfortable interacting with an international clientele as you are burning the midnight oil.. Youāre friendly and approachable, with a presence that reassures and soothes guests when theyāre feeling tired, hungry, and perhaps even a little bit stressed. Youāre the one who makes them feel at ease after an arduous journey.
The role requires a true ambassador for the Pangea brand, so youāre also someone who exudes enthusiasm, courteousness and positivity. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
As Night Manager youāll be responsible for helping guests check in and out of the hotel outside normal hours, as well as helping them understand how Pangea works ā including its house rules. Depending on the hour of their arrival youāll also be advising them on how to get the best out of their stay and helping them to get oriented with the hotel and the Village.
Your other chief responsibility is nightly security; youāll be securing certain areas of the hotel last thing at night, keeping an eye on them through the small hours, and then opening them up again in the morning. Of course, youāll also be keeping a close eye on whoās coming in and out of the hotel throughout the night (denying entry to non-guests), and reporting on any activity that might be considered āuntowardā.
