Who’s Eligible?
You qualify if you:
- Hold Syrian, Jordanian, Lebanese, or Palestinian nationality
- Live in one of those countries (Syrians abroad may also apply)
- Have a bachelor’s degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 (or are in your final year)

- Are committed to returning home and creating social impact
- Meet English language requirements (see below)

English Language Requirements
Submit an official test result dated after October 1, 2024. Minimum scores:
- IELTS Academic: 6.0 overall, with 6.0 in each band
- Duolingo English Test: 105 overall, 105 in each skill
- TOEFL iBT: 80 overall, with at least 20 per section
Screenshots won’t be accepted. Only original certificates count.
Reference Letters
You need three signed letters:
- Academic referee (e.g., a professor)
- Professional referee (e.g., employer)
- Community/volunteer referee
Each letter must:
- Be in English on official letterhead
- Include the referee’s contact details
- Be tailored to your Saïd Foundation application
Applications missing any reference will be disqualified.
