Africa Entrance Scholarships: Build your intellectual ability by studying in Canada through the Africa Entrance Scholarships at St. Lawrence College. The programme is open for the academic year 2021-2022.





Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply for this diploma degree award in Canada. About St. Lawrence College

Prior to the 1960s, only institutes of technology and vocational centres co-existed with universities in the province of Ontario at the post-secondary level, and many of those schools were established primarily to help veterans reintegrate into society in the post-war years. In response to an increasing need for technical education, Minister of Education (later Premier) William Davis, regarded now as the “father of the Ontario College System”, established Ontario's colleges of applied arts and technology to train individuals for employment in their respective communities.

Aim and Benefits of St. Lawrence College Entrance Scholarships

Up to $2,000 CAD applied to the recipient’s student account and redeemable towards the 2nd semester’s tuition fees. Please note that all SLC scholarships are non-refundable and non-transferable.




Requirements for St. Lawrence College Entrance Scholarships Qualification

  • International student
  • Citizen of one of the eligible countries: Algeria, Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Tanzania, Tunisia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe
  • Was accepted into a diploma or advanced diploma program at St. Lawrence College
