Scholarships open to citizens of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Honduras, Mali, The Philippines, Somalia, South Korea and Yemen:

UPPSALA UNIVERSITY GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition fees for studies at Uppsala University. It is for Master’s programmes that start on 29 August 2022 and are offered during the current admission round. The scholarships do not cover living expenses.




Level of study:

Master’s programmes

Eligibility criteria:

  • You must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
  • You must demonstrate academic talent and show interest in being in an educational environment.
  • You can only be awarded an Uppsala University Global Scholarship for a Master’s programme at Uppsala University chosen as first priority (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the four programmes you can choose at University Admissions).
  • You must have applied for the Master’s programme before the University Admissions deadline.
  • You must meet the entry requirements for the Master’s programme you applied for. The application fee and your complete supporting documents must be received by University Admissions before the deadline.




ANDERS WALL’S SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDIES AT UPPSALA UNIVERSITY

The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition fees for studies at Uppsala University. It is for degree programmes that start on 29 August 2022 and are offered during the current admission round. The scholarships do not cover living expenses.

Level of study:
Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes

Eligibility criteria:

  • You must be a citizen of Ghana, South Africa, Tunisia or Uganda.
  • You must demonstrate academic talent and show interest in being in an educational environment.
  • You can only be awarded an Anders Wall Scholarship for a degree programme at Uppsala University chosen as first priority (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the programmes you can choose at University Admissions).
  • You must have applied for the Bachelor’s or Master’s programme before the University Admissions deadline.
  • You must meet the entry requirements for the programme you applied to. The application fee and your complete supporting documents must be received by University Admissions before the deadline.




UPPSALA UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT’S CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

Uppsala University President’s Club Scholarship aims to encourage a highly qualified international Master’s student. The scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition fees for programmes offered during the current admission round and commencing 29 August 2022. The scholarship does not cover living expenses.

Level of study:

Master’s programmes

Eligibility criteria:

  • You must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
  • You must demonstrate academic talent and show interest in being in an educational environment.
  • You can only be awarded the Uppsala University President’s Club Scholarship for a Master’s programme at Uppsala University chosen as first priority (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the four programmes you can choose at University Admissions).
  • You must have applied for the Master’s programme before the University Admissions deadline.
  • You must meet the entry requirements for the programme you applied to. The application fee and your complete supporting documents must be received by University Admissions before the deadline.




THE KING CARL GUSTAF SCHOLARSHIP

The King Carl Gustaf Scholarship is aimed at students who live in unsafe and dangerous conditions in areas affected by conflict or natural disasters. The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition fees for studies at Uppsala University. It is for Master’s programmes that start on 29 August 2022 and are offered during the current admission round. The scholarships do not cover living expenses.

Level of study:

Master’s programmes




Eligibility criteria:

  • You must be a citizen of one of the following countries: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Honduras, Mali, The Philippines, Somalia, South Korea or Yemen.
  • You must show why you are particularly vulnerable and therefore in need of the educational environment at Uppsala University, as well as that you have the academic talent required.
  • You can only be awarded a King Carl Gustaf scholarship for a Master’s programme at Uppsala University chosen as first priority (the programme which you have ranked the highest of the four programmes you can choose at University Admissions).
  • You must have applied for the Master’s programme before the University Admissions deadline.
  • You must meet the entry requirements for the programme you applied to. The application fee and your complete supporting documents must be received by University Admissions before the deadline.
