Purpose

The main purpose of this role is described below:

  • The Spare Parts Coordinator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the process and system used to collect data according to the EIS, Master Data Governance and SAP-S4HANA standards and on whatever project specific procedures they are assigned to. Key interfaces include a multitude of suppliers of information, including contractors and equipment vendors.
  • Spares Coordinator is the conduit between Project Team, Engineering Teams, Materials Management and C&P to Company’s SBO-CP Data Centre of Excellence on Spares Management activities.

  • Coordinate the inclusion of parts from the E-SPIR on the Bill of Material in the ERP.

  • Ensures availability and optimal performance of the computer network facilities, particularly the e-mail, internet and printing systems, telecommunication and printing equipments as well as hardware and software planning and replacement
  • Coordinates and administers the work of the IT Services Section to ensure that staff meets their work targets; carries out server-side and client-side hardware/ software installations
  • Draws up a sound fault-tolerant, data backup and disaster recovery strategy, implements and regularly revises same

Objective of Position

  • The Energy Demand Analyst develops medium to long-term assessments of future oil demand growth at the sectoral level, understanding the main drivers and key uncertainties.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyses the dynamics of the transportation sector
  • Assesses oil demand in the industry sector, particularly related to the petrochemical sector
  • Analyses oil use in households, as biomass is replaced by commercial energy in developing countries
