1.) Technical Data Management Analyst - RE

What’s the Role?

  • This is a hybrid position that provides technical data management support services to the Reservoir Engineering & Production technology disciplines.
  • This role applies a comprehensive knowledge of Reservoir data types (e.g., reservoir pressure, PVT, well status, etc.) and an in-depth understanding of relevant (subsurface) business workflows to manage data.
  • This position provides a unique and exciting opportunity for data management professionals to apply Technical Data management (TDM) principles to RE/PT workflows with an emphasis on effective management of the data gathering, quality check/assurance, and storage of raw & interpreted RE/PT data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collation, formatting, loading, and management of RE/PT data into the appropriate master and corporate data stores following Shell global standards.
  • Working collaboratively with the RE/PT Workflow consultants to provide requisite data management inputs to support short term oil generation activities, well optimization, generating BHP proposals and involve in the ARRP process etc.
  • Leverage IT Data Analytics tools to periodically perform analysis of the dynamic behavior of the reservoirs to generate reliable production forecasts based on available data to support Res/PTs
  • Constantly seek digitalization/automation opportunity to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the WRFM TDM consultant for successful setup, deployment, and utilization of PVT Geomark for managing PVT data.
  • Setup & implement the data management tools, standards, and processes to facilitate the smooth operations of RE/PT data in SCiN.
  • Provides expert support and execution on the data import, export, and quality control of the major RE/PT data types, including WRFM and PVT models in support of the sub-surface interpretation and modelling.
  • Provides expert data management analysis supporting this environment, solving complex data quality issues, and performing advanced data manipulation, whilst monitoring and maintaining the RE/PT data loading KPIs
  • Collaborate with the discipline and provide technical assurance towards closing out TDM actions in AIMS.
  • Carry out management of RE/PT data, including reservoir pressure data, acting as the SCiN Focal Point for SIESTA database.
  • Update, QAQC and maintain the SCiN hydrocarbon production database (Volts), ensuring that monthly hydrocarbon production aggregates are timely reported.

What We Need From You?
Staff in this position typically is expected to have proven requisite working experience in EP business in addition to the following:

  • A University Degree in Technical Discipline (Engineering {especially Petroleum}) or Physical Sciences. (Strong IT bias and/or background as a geoscientist/Geophysicist will be an added advantage)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Oil and Gas industry experience is a must.
  • Experience as a data manager and/or petroleum engineer with exposure to subsurface data will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of E&P data types (particularly geological and geophysical data) and work practices gained through working in the subsurface domain.
  • Excellent communication/leadership skills related to building shared vision and working in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Apply petroleum engineering domain knowledge to assist engineers in use and easy access of PT, RE, WRFM critical data and usage of relevant standard applications.
  • Provide RE/PT data consultation on sources, quality, methods of data management.
  • Skilled in the development and management of digital dashboards in Sharepoint and PowerBI

As the Lead Environmental Health Officer, your main accountabilities are:

  • Supervise Environmental Health Officers in the delivery of Environmental Health services in Shell Nigeria
  • Drive Food & Drinking Water Safety- ensure HACCP training of health focals, facility representatives and food handlers; implement appropriate controls for prevention of food poisoning
  • Maintain drinking water quality in all company owned premises through periodic testing to conform with World Health Organization’s specifications
  • Deliver Integrated Pest Management in the Shell industrial and residential areas as well as field locations
  • Support Public Health, accommodation, and vessel inspections
  • Provide health support to projects via the Health Project Owner scheme
  • Interface with Government/regulatory agencies- stakeholder engagement
  • Provide inputs for Standard setting; ensure business compliance with environmental health standards/regulation according to best practice
  • Manage environmental health related contracts (Pest Control), procedures and audits
  • Actively balance the regional delivery role with the horizontal input as required to the Central teams
  • When faced with business issues and requests, first leverage existing expertise from the asset class specialists

Requirements
What we need from you?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ proven experience in the practice of Environmental Health
  • Possess relevant professional license (EHORECON)
  • Skilled in the Health Risk Management and HSE Management Systems
  • Good understanding of Shell Nigeria’s business and Good business partnering and stakeholder management skills
  • Data analytical skills and above average information and telecommunication skills
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills with good written and verbal communication skills

Leadership skills:

  • Able to prioritize and shows courage to identify improvement opportunities and challenge lower value work.
  • Continuously looks for opportunities to learn from and leverage best practices.
