🇲🇻 Fully Funded Post-Graduate Scholarships at Maldives National University (MNU) 2025

The Maldives National University (MNU) has unveiled its 2025 Post-Graduate Scholarship call (ref. MNU-CA-SSS/2025/01). The award covers tuition, monthly living costs, and research funds for both Maldivian and international students who enrol in selected full-time programmes.

Who Can Apply?

1. Maldivian citizens or international students holding an offer for a full-time MNU post-graduate course.
2. Applicants from low-income or under-represented groups are encouraged; women and minorities receive priority points.
3. Academic prerequisites
   • Five O-Level/SSC passes + three A-Level/HSC passes (or equivalents)
   • A recognised bachelor’s degree for master’s candidates
4. Clean record on previous Maldives-government scholarships.

How to Apply — Step by Step

1. Create an account on the MNU portal → https://mnu.edu.mv/mnu-student-scholarships-announcement-2025-term-2/
2. Complete the Post-Graduate Admission form and upload:
   • Academic transcripts and certificates
   • Passport (international) / National ID (Maldivian)
   • Income or employment evidence (if relevant)
3. Write two short essays (≈ 500 words each):
   • Personal statement
   • Justification for scholarship selection
4. Sign the scholarship agreement and submit the full application online.

Deadline: 28 August 2025 – 14:00 (UTC+5). Late or incomplete files are not reviewed.
