Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the UEG Research Fellowship:
- Hold a myUEG Associate status.
- Be a clinical or basic researcher with a focus on digestive diseases.
- Have earned a PhD within the past five years or be currently in training or have recently completed training in gastroenterology, hepatology, or surgery within the past five years. Parental extensions of up to two additional years per child, up to a maximum of four years, are permitted.
- Not possess a permanent academic position.
- Demonstrate considerable research experience.
- Exhibit proficiency in English.
- Reside in Europe, countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, or a country represented by a UEG National Member Society.
