Scholarship Benefits

Number of Awards

A total of five scholarships are available exclusively for students from Ghana, India, Kenya, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Edge Hill University GREAT Scholarships 2025, you must:

• Hold a valid passport from Ghana, India, Kenya, Turkey, or Vietnam.
• Be a self-funded student.
• Have applied and received an offer for a full-time postgraduate degree at Edge Hill University for the September 2025 intake.
• Not be a recipient of any other scholarships, including external ones like Chevening.
• Confirm your study offer from Edge Hill University by 31 May 2025.

Application Process

Once you have your offer to study at Edge Hill University:

1. Complete the application form for the British Council GREAT Scholarships here.
2. Your application will be reviewed by a selection panel comprising representatives from Admissions, the International Office, and the International Student Support Officer.
3. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a video interview with the selection committee.
4. Final decisions will be communicated no later than 30 June 2025.
