Each year, six dedicated scholarships are awarded under the Raydon initiative, thanks to the generous philanthropic contributions from the Narodowski Investment Trust. The scholarships available include:

  • Alex Raydon PhD Scholarship
  • Alex Raydon and Nina Narodowski PhD Scholarship (two available)
  • Max and Riva Radunski PhD Scholarship
  • Sam and Nina Narodowski PhD Scholarship
  • Sonia Narodowski PhD Scholarship

These scholarships are also accessible to students engaged in Joint Research Awards, with Monash University serving as the principal institution.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for one of these prestigious scholarships, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Open to international students, Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, and Australian humanitarian visa holders.
  • Application Timing: Must have submitted a scholarship application within the current year.
  • Field of Study: Research must be conducted in areas such as social justice, social inclusion, human rights, sustainability, environment, or social policy aimed at societal improvement.
  • Faculties Eligible: Art, Design and Architecture; Arts; Education; and Law.
  • Selection Process: Candidates must excel in Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process and meet the university’s English language proficiency standards.
